looks great man,

only nitpick would be adding more intensity to the shadows

just to make them darker and match the shadows in the stage,

otherwise looks wonderful. downloaded!

What about hi-res characters? How do yall downscale them? i.e kirito/asuna or guilty gear characters

see the biggest thing i dislike about using character sprites in non-indexed portraits is that they get a little blurry. It bothers me

if you have the resources you should add a top layer of the flowers so it appears they're standing in a tall patch of grass rather than standing 'on' the flowers

if that makes sense

here's a fix for that pal issue on morrigan

[State 5900, Pal] ;Change palette
type = RemapPal
trigger1 = 1
source = 1,1
dest = 1,palno

[State 5900, End]
type = ChangeState
trigger1 = 1
value = 0

overwrite the current remappal state 5900 stuff to this

then add the pals to the sff like normal and it should work just fine
