Personally, I thought Pac-man got pretty terrible stages in both games. While I was quite looking forward to playing the Pac-land stage, after playing it I was sorely disappointed.

Don't know if this is common knowledge or not, but I figured I'd share. I was playing 8-player Smash last night and I was using Wario. When I did his attacks that involved the over-exaggeration of his limbs/fists/head, they were all lacking in that department. For instance, corkscrew and up-tilt didn't have his huge hands with fingers splayed out, and his head during his up-smash didn't grow as freakishly large. I just found it really strange. Has anyone else noticed any of the other characters having their animations compromised during 8-player smash? Just curious.

Yeah, they really should have had that reserved for timed battles.

Well, it was only a matter of time before the inappropriate pictures started rolling in.

I'd have grabbed small eyed Captain Falcon, throw him up on eBay and call him "defective".

^ This. So much!

At least now it'll be safe to begin stockpiling replays.

That, or it was some kind of placeholder before final release, although that seems less likely the more I think about it.

Opening the package at any point would immediately deteriorate the value and any credibility of it's authenticity.

So, it's been nearly 3 years, but I finally up and decided to make a new stage. This time we have a stage based on the first level of DKC3. I tried to recreate the scrolling water as best I could, and it didn't turn out too shabby. The stage also comes with both the GBA and SNES versions of the Stilt Village music.

Enjoy! :)

Well, now it's not creating the helper at all. The projectile itself is a helper, but its using a HitDef controller. Do I need to alter it to be a Projectile controller?

Hey, everyone. So this may be a simple fix, but here's my conundrum:

I have a projectile that hits multiple times (approximately 55 times), and I wanted a particle-esque effect in addition to the standard hitspark. So, I used the Helper state controller for the particles and came up with the following code:

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

This seemed to work fine, but upon closer observation, I discovered that the particles still spawn, even if the opponent is no longer being hit by the projectile, as long as they were hit at some point by it. I suspect it is the movehit in the code that is the culprit, but I don't know if there exists a way to specify a successful hit for a individual frame of the attack. If anyone could help, I'd be utmost appreciative. Thank You!

Now I'm just waiting for that inevitable patch that adds this song in the game after they make an English language version. I guy can dream can't he? Either way, it's BS that this isn't in the US version, considering Brawl had an English and Japanese version of like 3 songs from WarioWare. -_-

Why is there only 8 unlockable characters? I thought Shulk was more valuable then dark pit. Megaman and Sonic are even starters. In all my days of playing smash half of all the characters would be available to now it's like you have all the characters and just have to do 80 matches just to get 8 more. This Shulk guy seemed so good in the preview I was like "yea he's too valuable to be a starter" I would've loved an update if half the characters were hidden when you first started and you had to work your way up but seems not everyone feels that way.

Yeah, I hear ya. I miss the good ol' days when you actually had to TRY to unlock new characters.

What a note to end on. Hard to believe it's been nearly 18 months since PotD started.

Yeah, I never did like Shulk, myself. And I'm usually tolerant of counters, but Shulk's just pisses me off.
