Recently I saw Man of Steel on TV and as much I loved the battles (soooo DBZ 
) everything else was dull and just plain bad. Plot was confusing and I shallow. They tried too hard to make this film deep and meaningfull and it turned out to be pathethic and confusing. I felt like they cut some parts out of the stoiry and that's why it was bad. This movie should be twice as long so maybe it could be better and story progressing more naturally. I disliked how they tried turn Clark in some cheap copy of Jesus Christ. All these religious references really felt weird in Superman movie.
Some characters were just plain useless. They barely showed Metropolis, Laurence Fishbourne didn't have anything to do except standing there static. I hoped for Kevin Costner to show some acting and all he did were few pathethic scenes and his death was just laughable. Henry Cavill is good actor and he proved that in The Tudors but wow here he was emotionless. The only moment I see him in his old shape, showing some emotions was scene where he killed Zod. And as much as I adore Amy Adams her Los Lane was very generic character. And that kiss scene came out of nowhere. No chemistry at all. Not to mention she is getting too old for this role. I mean in Man of Steel I already saw wrinkles on her face. She will be 44 by the time that JL movie will be out and it will be getting only worse with each movie. For Film series like these they should hire younger actors so they won't look like grandparents by the time series ends. Just see what happened with Roger Moore when he played James Bond in his last Bond movies.....
The only good parts were the fights and Russel Crowe as Jor-El. He was so badass, cool and believeable.
As for destruction thing Snyder went more far than Michael Bay and that saying alot. I guess masses love seeing chaos & destruction. Even my inner child was jumped with joy despite the fact it didn't fit to Superman at all. This fad of making mindless blockbusters won;t go away soon and that makes me sad, that's why I only watch these movie on TV. It's good there is still independent scene full of good movies.
Defintely weakest Superman movie of all. Even Superman Returns was better.

It's weird no one mentioned Reika by Taruse I mean this char is old, it comes from 2000 year so it's 14 years old char and back then this char really was really really something. It have original sprites, & gameplay, cutscenes during supers, can pick up weapon from the ground and her LV3 Super have Zoom + own background. Even today stuff like these is rarely present in character. It still amaze me how Taruse was manage to pull all that off on such old version of Mugen. Anyone who doesn't know Reika should immediately try her out.
Another thing come to mind is Babel Sword game by TATsu. I mean he turned Mugen into space shooter. How cool is that ? Even Elecbyte was impressed at his creation and that itself tells a lot.
And there is Dragon Claw by Reu which turned to be some sort icon of Mugen. I'm suprised no one mentioned him before me.

Edge of Tomorrow (2014)
With Tom Cruise, who finally decided to play in a good movie after all these years in mindless blockbusters (Jack Reacher was good, though).
I thought Oblivion was really good one, not good as Minority Report but very near IMO. And you know what ? I started to apperciate these blockbusters he starred in like MI4. Yeah some of them are shallow and maybe mindless in story department but they still are pretty good entertaiment for evening at home. After watching some heavy dramas, thrillers (which are my favourites) and psychological movies I like to watch something lighter packed with action & stuff to relax. It helps alot if previous movie I just watched had depressing ending.
And Edge of Tomorrow is on my "To be watched" list.

My first non-Wes Anderson movie in a while.
Like Someone in Love
Yeah movie had potential but ending made me WTF. I like interaction of Akiko & old guy but it was wasted when it end... I see endings like these more & more lately. I get the inention: they want to give viewers choice to imagine their own ending, and sometimes it works but most of the time it makes me cringe inside. It's just pure laziness and it's poor excuse for director/writer who have no idea how to end his story.

As huge fan of Trance (not commercial trance or other EDM genres which I find boring & not appealing) I find this comment bit offensive. If you really thinks Trance music is bad then you proably listened some badly produced shit that is pplayed in radios or by shitty djs in shitty clubs. Melodic/cinematic/uplifting trance is the real thing.

- Are you still planning to update your Melty Blood stuff & release more chars from the game or you are done with this style ?
- Rogue is still to be finished or you cancelled her like Batman ?
- Are you gonna update your SF chars like Dhalsim, Maki, ChunLi etc. ?
- Are you still working on Mell & SF3 Strider. ?
- What are your future Mugen plans overall ?

From Dusk Till Dawn the first one
Really great loved everything about it probably going to watch the two other later
Sequels are crap. If you are loved the movie check out the recent TV Series, which was created, scripted & directed by Robert Rodriguez. First season have 10 episodes and show was renewed for next one. Whole story is pretty much the same as in the movie (except the ending obviously) but very much expanded in characters (Carlos ), plot department & mythology. It's seriously one of the best shows this year. Eiza Gonzales is outstanding as Santanico and she is awesome as Salma Hayek was in the movie. Warning though, show is bit slow but it's getting soo much better around 7 episode when Seth & Riche arrive in Tittie Twister and shit hits the fan like in the movie

I know that DivineWolf working on his version of Morrigan but once he release his, anyone is up to making SFF patch for Po.t.S version and beterhans version ? In his SFF there should be all needed sprites & anims so there shouldn't be a problem and I;m only asking because I want to have all 3 versions with li kun sprites.

Wow that's weird considering both Yamazaki & Marco took you WAY longer to complete. I guess you were able to speed things up.
Nice to see you back on the game Vyn. I still have your rock & terry as my favs. How you managed to use Mugen ? Didn't you use some OS that couldn't run it and that's why you left ?
And do you have any other plans besides finishing this Ryu ? Anyway welcome back (well you never truly keft but still...).
