i know how to do wall bounce but im trying to simulate a wall bounce where p2 comes back to p1

im trying to put p2 in a custom state so when p1 hits p2, p2 goes into custom state and goes to wall and comes back to p1. how would i go about doing that.

i know for the actual wall bounce i would probably have to use frontedgebodydist?

oh goodness lol never thought i would here someone in mugen say this., this is like one of the first few names i heard when i walked in the mugen scene.

even though he is a hair swap kinda this is still pretty interesting to see how you put your take on it, animation wise and coding wise.

so i would use that variable in a state -2, the cmd, or the state of the move with the commands? this move uses 6 commands (all different)

yes var59 is my ai variable. appreciate the help sorry, here is state 1031. sorry i wasnt clear to begin with, the 3 commands are all the same attack, they are there just for show to make the player feel like he has options. but i do have a move thats the same concept as this. can i post the code and you explain how to have the ai detect the different commands?

how would i go about making the ai react to these commands if p1 was in a special state? sorry this is probably a horrible explanation.

the move works like p1 grabs p2 and binds them. once in that bind state for a period of time (var5) you can press one of the commands for p1 to go to a different state and inflict damage on p2. pretty much an omega red leech inspired move. cant get the ai to perform any of the commands when it goes into this state though.

- Big portrait is misaligned.
- P2 recovers many ticks before Flash during qcf+P, making it a very unsafe and almost useless move.
- Looks like you can spam qcf+K as much as you want on an opponent to completely freeze him by doing so, making it an easy win if you have more life than P2.
- The Super BG (all supers) is very pixeled and quite ugly. I'm sure it would be better if you used the RGB method to limit colorloss and actually not animate it at all.
- qcb+2K : too many hitsounds. Play them only once every 4 or 5 hits. Also, randomize the position of the hitsparks.
- qcf+2K : P2 can recover at the end of the move. Also, you can see the BG (stage) at the right of the super BG at a moment almost at the end of the move.
- qcf+2P : P2 can recover at the end of the move.
- With P2 in the corner, hold forward and smash A (not too fast in order to not trigger the Chun-Li kick) for an easy infinite.

Winpose No. 1 (still deciding how Seika's image will look in-game. Don't want to unnecessarily increase the palette count just for this winpose).



Hope you guys like it.

My plan for Winpose No. 2 is for Seiya to do some fancy pose while he says "Kimi wa kosumo wo kanjita koto ga aru ka" ("Have you ever felt your own cosmo?") in true ending fashion.

Heck, I might even add "Moero! Ore no kosumo yo!" (Burn! Cosmo of mine!") during the intro, if I can rip the sounds in good quality.

well if your intention is to just make seikas image with no pal change you can just make it a helper or explode and her colors wont matter because they wont have to be inserted in the pal.
