I honestly haven't given it to much thought. Normally any sprite work I do is open for anyone to use how ever they like but with this project I am growing more and more attached to it as I go. I could never understand why some one would not release their work for anyone to use, until I got further into this project.

It will probably be a long while before the sprites are 100% complete so that will give me time to think about it and I will be sure to give a final answer by the time anything is released.

Im excited about the new way I am making the latest animations. I can easly rough out a one or two full animation and color it in a day now.

It was just what this projected needed. Now I just have to find more free time!!

I had found an email (after digging for a while) to contact someone on the team in the past. I was hoping I could commission them to build an engine for a commercial game I had been planning. Unfortunately I never received a reply.

I have figured out since then that there is no point in finding other ways to contact them. They are busy just like any of us and will get to and reply to any messages that they want, if they want. Mugen is just a hobby to them as well.

I think I might change how he spins at the end of the attack. It just seems to sloppy of a movement for him to do. (doesn't match his fighting style)

Alright guys I could use some opinions on this gram animation I have been putting together. In this version he has a spin at the end of the attack to get him and his sword back to his stand animation. The classic and MvC version he doesn't have a spin and his sword is never really animated going back into position. The other option would be to animate the sword swinging back in front of him and then coming to a rest behind him.


his spin is probably a bit to fast here.

14 frames seems excessive for a light punch.

Agreed but its looking good so I think I'm gonna keep it. A good bit of the frames will be to fast to enjoy but I think it will be worth it.

If you don't mind me asking, how's the coding of Strider going?
Well, that's more a question for Rajaa. I would be comfortable saying its on hold at the moment. Which is fine because there are a few animations I need to figure out still.
