This just came into my mind today when I thought about Ness' return.  What would the possibility for a stage be?
I'm hopeful that Sakurai isn't lazy and decides to bring back Onett.  There's more source material he could use for designing a stage beyond Onett or New Pork City.  Osohe Castle from Mother 3 might be one idea for a stage.

I always figured that there would be a villain trailer near the release of the game displaying all of them.

Palutena's reveal trailer almost makes me forget a Kid Icarus character noone remembers or asked for is wasting a roster slot that could've gone to a better and/or more interesting character.
