I'm guessing the AI does reset from strong to weak. My final 2 challengers (Palutena and Bayonetta) were easy to beat cuz their AI wasn't hardcore this morning. With this, I have EVERY SINGLE fighter unlocked and boy do I love Smashing 8 Player style!
The true final battle is to survive the ascending scrolling stage, kill their puppet copies and kill all the bosses again and once you kill them all, both Galeem and Dharkon will fight you at the same time, using the same attacks in their initial battles so try to kill one of them quickly.
I'm so confused... I had a very very tough time with Challenger AI last night and this morning, the AI was suddenly weaker and I managed to unlock Lucina, Wario and Ridley. Does the AI itself reset from crazy-as-hell to weak as time progresses throughout the next day or something?

Finally kicked Galeem's ass but now I have to find my way to Dharkon. Already killed Dracula and rescued Ridley, Daisy, Ken, Incineroar and Wario so far.
Does anyone feel that the AI in Challenger Fights are extremely hard af? I was trying to unlock Luigi and he just goes hardcore and Roy made the experience even worse. And DO NOT tell me "git gud" because I don't play Smash for the challenge. I just want to unlock everyone and enjoy the game the way I like to enjoy Smash games. At this point if the Fighter battles in World of Light will have that type of AI, there's a possibility I may never get the entire roster unlocked. I'm not planning on getting an anxiety attack and god forbid not wake up the next morning.
They had to be decided by Sakurai before they start developing them and Sakurai said that they haven't started on any of the 5 yet during last month's direct. They have to make the stages and provide soundtrack for them too.
I wouldn't want that blockhead Steve to be in Smash material at all. Just don't seem fitting. What is even his backstory first off? Anyway, with only less than 84 hours remaining, what are your plans after beating World of Light if you're heading straight to it soon as you get Ultimate?
