And here's Joe:

Special thanks to Shubuster and Dark-Zerox709 for the Deejay and Cody sprites that I used as bases. Couldn't have done it without them.

Finished his jumping attacks. Even though he isn't 100% finished, I think I am going to post him in resource releases. The only stuff I have left on him are minor things like turning and blocking sprites, throwing sprites, intro, etc. I'd say he's about 90% complete:

The terrordome characters didn't really have any movesets. I saw that they gave him a move where he throws a tombstone which was cool, but I will probably leave that out because I never saw him do it in the movie. I was thinking of having some sort of theme to his moves. Like maybe making him a grappler or a charge character like they did in Capcom and SNK.

I know it's been a while since the last update. Just finished his jumping kicks. More coming soon:

Yeah I want to add that move later.

I like the idea of having him walk out to his intro music, but I was thinking that instead of having him smash a pumpkin, he could be chasing Jaime Lee Curtis. I saw that Prime Op had made a sprite edit of her on his site (pictured on the left) and was thinking it would be pretty easy to edit Athena's running sprites (also pictured). Curtis could run onto the screen and stop and look back, and when Michael walks on the screen, she runs away, all while the Halloween music plays.

EDIT

Also the music should only cycle about 3 times, like the first 10 seconds of this video:

Just made these recolors. Tried to re-create what he had originally. Top is his part 6 costume, bottom is the part 3 costume (first appearance of the hockey mask) that I slightly edited. Used colors from SF3 Alex and Q and included the color separation.

Thanks dudes. As for customized moves, I was thinking he could have two more specials: A dashing uppercut similar to Balrog/M.Bison's and a damaging grapple move similar to Yamazaki's 'Bomb Bopper' where he dashes forward and then grabs the opponent with the lead arm, raises them up and stabs them.

Had these animations in mind for bases:

I'd call the dash move the "Hallow-Slash" and the grapple move the "Hallow-Stab"

EDIT

Added these Yamazaki frames as a bonus to make his CvS slash move more like his KoF one:

Here's a very bare bones version of Michael Myers in Capcom form. Maybe I will add more later. I know it's not much, but I figured it was time that Mugen got a 2D version of Michael. Special thanks to Shubuster and Spriter's Resource for the sprites I used as a base. Also, I do not take credit for creating this character as he was created by John Carpenter. All I am taking credit for is editing the sprites Capcom made to put him in their style of animation.

I've gotten a couple of emails from people asking to use my sprites in levels and I don't care if you want to use them, that's fine, just please mention my name somewhere cuz I spent a lot of time on these. If someone wants to program this character, it would be cool to see. But if you do, you should post a video here so we can see him in action :-)

Just wanted to explain these:

- First three rows:  "Curse of Michael"
Michael slashes forward. This is similar to the move Yamazaki has. The strength of the button pressed determines how many slashes he does. Dragon punch motion backward + punch is what I would give him for this one. More slashes can be added for a super if needed. Maybe call it "Revenge of Michael" after Halloween 5. This could be done with a double quarter circle motion forward command.

- Fourth row: His walking backward animation
- Bottom row: His blocking crouching animation, his crouching damage animation and his turning around animation.

*Also, one thought I had for his win animation is that he could walk off the screen, sort of like SF3 Q

EDIT

forgot to say too, for his slash special, it should destroy projectiles to make him look more bad ass and to set him apart from yamazaki

EDIT

The slash could also look like this, with the outer slash going first

Just finished these, might add more to him later. I know they aren't perfect but I'm going to combine these and post the full sheet in Resource Releases.

whatever you think dude, I probably wont change it just because it took a long time to animate. I know all of the sprites look the same but they are actually slightly different and one animation. he has the same stance as Cody.

Did some searching and found this re-colored sprite that someone posted. Anyone know where I can find the full character or at least the original colors?

Lol glad you liked my character.

Just took his shoes off to make him match the other animations:

Here's his stance animation.

Almost finished with this, just have to remove the shoes. This was probably the hardest one yet because it was all from scratch except for the hands, head and shoes. Stances and walk animations are usually the hardest because everything has to be spot on in order for it to not look like shit. Gotta say though, I'm pretty happy with this one. Referenced Dai Kawahara's Joe sprite and Capcom's Cody sprite for this:

In other news, here's an update on Joe. These are his crouching attacks:

Top row: His regular crouch sprite

2nd row:  His light, middle and heavy crouching kicks. I wanted to give him a crouching heaving kick like Dhalsim's that can slide under projectiles.  I was thinking that since he doesn't have a projectile, he could have a couple of ways to get around them that most characters don't have. It would make sense because street fighters really use dirty trick to win fights when they fight in real life. Also, it would be cool to mix that move up with his overhead kick to keep the opponent guessing.

3rd row: His light, middle and heavy crouching punches.

4th row: An alternate version of his crouching heavy punch. Was thinking Guile:

I know T.Hawk was from Mexico, but he always looked more Native American to me than Mexican. I actually liked El Fuerte, it was cool to see a Luchador in Street Fighter, but it was kind of annoying how Capcom chose to make him a joke character. We wont see Ryu, Fei Long, Makoto, Akuma, Ken or Guile running around screaming I'm guessing. But oh well.

I had some ideas for Mexican characters too. Had an idea for a boxer character, and thought it would be cool to see a Luchador based off of Charly Manson. It would be cool. SF needs a serious Mexican character. Also, an Icelandic character would be cool.

Lol if Grand Theft Auto can do it why not Street Fighter :p

But yeah I was just fuckin around with that. But it would be pretty cool to have some legit Mexican guys. Maybe a MMA guy or a fast boxer based off of De La Hoya. Always wanted to see a character from Antarctica too. Was thinking it would have been fucking funny to see them put Antarctica in SF1 and when you go there you fight a penguin and a polar bear
