If you put everything in a single folder, make sure the change the paths in the .def to reflect that.

well its mainly saying his cmd is unreable and stuff and his cmd file name is 1 and in his .DEF its also 1 so your saying i should just change the name of everything into bloody_scorpion or  whatever

You are using 1.0, right?

And I just loaded him no problems.  I did change the folder name to "bloody_scorpion.def" from "Bloody Characters_11_03_2011".  Try that maybe?  I'm assuming some of the problems might be from him having his cmd and other data files in different directories instead of everything just being all together in one folder.

Well I will try to put everything in a single folder and yea he loads up in the game he just has no attacks/cmd basically and tends to glitch and crash the game a lot  so i will just put everything in a single folder and yea its 1.0 and his folder name is bloody_scorpion so if he still doesn't work after this then im lost lol i'll probably post a video of the problem if this does not work so yea be ready for it

ok i got him but when i load him into my mugen it crashes saying he has no cmd and when i load him in my fighter factory to see what he is missing he has everything and works in the little test mugen but the thing about that is in the test mugen he cant attack and he oftens flys off screen when i input a special move which doesn't even work is there something im doing wrong '/_'

i found this Scorpion all over youtube and can not find a working download link anywhere if anyone has him please tell me how to get him i download 2 different bloody scorpions one was incomplete while the other had everything but a CMD file and although i add it to his character he still never works and when i load him up in the fighter factory training mode thing he cant attack im confused i just want a working Bloody Scorpion for my MUGEN 1.0 it says he's compatible with it so yea

Just add the character like any other one, you don't have to replace them if they have the same name. Sharing names shouldn't give you problems.

but it does it makes me replace there folders like when i add the guy with the same name it ask me do i want to replace there folder and the mugen reads the characters folders instead of there DEF's and stuff you know once i change the folder name and try to add him it doesn't read his character and he ends up not being added into the game for example

Dante and Dante i change one into DMC3 Dante and that Dante doesn't want to work

I got just about everything done with my character when it comes to sprites animations etc. but im having a real hard time coding a few things into the game and im just about ready to do anything to finish this guy up i just really need a coder because im not really that good with it no matter how many videos or docs i read i just can't get it to work the way i want it theres always an error somewhere along the line so if anyone can help or just code him for me that would really be awesome guys

1. Post your code. The superpause not activating is probably due to your triggers.

2. Doesn't make any sense to me. Be clearer.

3. You need to use a poweradd to decrease your power, the trigger just detects power, it doesn't alter it in any way.

What i wanted to do was the player would taunt jump back and let the helper do the rest i got the animations down and part of it to work its just that like i said the pause sometimes isn't activated and i can move during the super which i was suppose to jump back and be able to move on the last hit of the combo but i see i can move the whole time and also bro you may have to look at the pics in the link above to see what i mean by 2 of me comes out everything i do the super and also there are no hit animations for player 2 like when he gets hit he can move like nothing is happening he just stands there like whatever but if its to much for you to get and work out i'll post a video of the problem for you if you want

Ok so far things are going well with my character so far but i tryed to give him a super combo featuring a helper where the helper runs in and attacks the other player 3 times then leaves so far i manage to code it into the game but having a few minor problems such as.....

1. the super pause sometime doesn't activate and the helper just appears doing the command like a regular move

2. This annoying problem is that the player appears with your helper doing random attacks so there's two of you one doing the super animation while the other is with the helper doing random attacks really need help with this one

No problem;) But honestly you had your answer in every single replay, but because you don't read the docs, you simply not seen/not understood the answer.
Read docs! This will save you lot of time and trouble. Besides you want to learn something or just copy/paste codes, not knowing what you doing?
You have to know the basics.

I know and believe i have read them like i said some stuff i understand but some i don't but your like the third person to tell me to read them so i'll re read them more carefully

It worked bro I see its so simple just add another trigger thing and animation well before i checked this problem solved I'll leave it up because i may have more questions about this and i don't think i should make all those threads if they mean somewhat the same meaning you know bro thanks big time im going to start on all his combo attacks right now and get back to you if i have some troubles :)

Kung Fu Man has multi-hitting super attacks, look at his super attacks. And read the docs. You said you haven't read the docs, how do you expect to even understand any help we give when you don't have any kind of basis of knowledge? I don't just mean read the trigger and controllers, read the whole thing.

I have an attack that slash's the guy twice he has his animations I'm just lost at this hitdef crap what has to be inputed into the second hitdef i tryed the same code for first hit but no dice any help on that sorry I'm making a fuss i know I'm close to understanding just need a bit more help

And do you know what it is: Stated, hitdef, trigger? because if you don't know, then you should read the docs. They are for some reason.

I don't think the copy/paste will work, because of the difference in frames, but that is very easy to fix.

What I mean? You have an animation of your special move, then you must have a code for this animation so post that code here.

Dude thats a seriously good question i dont know what to do i might have to mess around with the sprites i have with him already like i been doing i can't find his other sprites anywhere bro and im not good enough to create my own sprites ugh I hate to say it but he won't be a perfect character im letting everyone know who's reading this now he will not be a perfect character but i'll make sure i'll make him the best way i can guys oh and i'll start on his screenshots right away

not bad, although i think he is misaligned a bit. he should be moved down a bit. also standing animation is misaligned with itself.

No i have not read the "sctrls" and "trigger" what do i need to look for in them

and yes i am using KFM as a template and i notice that his courch strong punch his to hits but how do i apply that to my special move do i just copy part of the code or the whole thing

Gideon Graves a character from Scott Pillgrim Vs The World  he has never been made into mugen so it makes me really happy to see that im the first one to put him into it please to all that watched this video please leave pointers advices how to's whatever anything to help me get him done faster please and thank you : )
