Same happens to me but, what did you set your numbers to. Also, where did you find how to disable his power bar. Tired of trying to find it.:/

I just double the numbers in the config section ie layerspritemax, projectilemax, exlpodemax.. as for the lifebars go to dee folder and open the option.cns file and disable var(57).

Where did you get the extra palettes (unless you made them yourself), the only links I found for kal's Makoto only has one.

the original sff dont work with pals at all but here I included the re-packed sff's, here are as follow:

makoto.sff - original by kal.
makoto1.sff - reworked and remounted version by me, works with pals in FF.
makoto2.sff - mugen 1.1 version.

and test palettes by me. ;)

Sure, where's the download nvm I'll find it.

What version of Fighter Factory are you using? If your Fighter Factory isn't FF3, you won't be able to apply the necessary changes to change palettes for 1.1.

Fighters Factory 3 beta ver. 8.4 and it does give me the option to save sff as 1.1 so I presume it should work.

Palettes work differently in 1.1...

Palettes must be in Group 1 of the organizer and then the Index must start at 1 (and be in order). After that, they will show up with different button presses.


added the palettes and saved as ver 1.1 and add the pal code but still no luck, Im lost here... would anyone be kind enough to look at it?

yes I did, I copied it to the statedef 5900... unless that was the wrong spot, lol.

It is not the fault of your MUGEN. You just downloaded a very bad char, who doesn't even have the sprites shared properly.

I exported all the original sprites, applied them to a palette I made then mount them all back into a new sff file. I tested multiple times with different palettes that I made and it works perfectly in fighters factory and I did check the shared palettes option but it doesnt seem to work in mugen 1.1 at all so I have no idea. if anyone wants a crack at it Im more than happy to send you the file.

I created palettes before and I never had any problems before 1.1 but can someone please explain this if possible or know what Im doing wrong... all the palettes works fine in fighters factory but in the game it doesnt matter which button you press you get the default color only. Why isnt mugen accepting my palettes?
