Agrias has been one of our top-tier characters since we started doing our online tournaments. I've tested this update against the version we use and there is a significant decrease in how deadly she is. This bums me out a little bit because I really liked how strong she was.

Having said that I think the changes you did to her really do make her a better character. Her different modes are really interesting and she feels much less reliant on OP damage scaling, health regeneration, and power charge.

I will gladly be adding this new Agrias to our roster but as a separate entity entirely.

Kudos on the AWESOME work with her. She's definitely the best Final Fantasy character in Mugen.

I've seen your website before, and while I think your concept is cool I think your character variety is also a little skewered.  Since your tournaments are based on the spectacle of AI matches, I think instead of finding the highest quality or easiest available version of the character you should scoop the one that has the more entertaining AI (or AI patch).

If you know of any better versions of characters that we use in our tournaments please let me know who they are and where to find them. I'm more than glad to add better versions.

Having said that we use a very advanced form of matchmaking which categorizes and matches up characters in our database based on their performance in tournaments. Naturally there are some super OP and super derpy characters (this is Mugen after all) but they're shuffled around appropriately. As we add more characters the matchmaking will get better and better as there is a progressive decline in the range of AI skill between the different tiers.

I'm sure you're aware but for a number of characters finding AI patches and/or better quality versions can be very difficult. I personally work on fixing bugs with characters that we use (though I'm no programmer so this is pretty time consuming) and would love to simply find good/bug free versions of characters instead of spending an entire day cleaning up the code on one guy.

Awesome! I'm really stoked whenever one of these guys gets added/updated. The artistry is fantastic and they play, for the most part, very well.

On a side note, is that Cervantes released?

The title says this is a demo. Could you tell me what kind of work remains before this guy is complete? I'd love to add him to our tournament roster but we don't typically add demo/beta releases.

Well if you can accurately reproduce this problem and zero-in on what is causing it I'll happily run a fix for it. But until then I still haven't had the issue reproduce itself in testing.

His supers are big combo moves, are you certain that you haven't just initiated one of his super moves?

Hmm, that's a really interesting issue you're having. Does this happen when you input a particular command or press particular buttons? In our tournaments we have never experienced him turning from player control to AI on his own.

A little while ago I ran across CaVaLeIrO_NeGrO's Rambo and thought he was pretty awesome. He had tons of coding issues though and caused numerous glitches during fights.

I went through his code and fixed most of the issues he had, while keeping him true to the author's original release (or least as close to it as I could get).

A list of what has been changed:
+ Upgraded character to Mugen 1.0
+ Fixed most if not all of the syntax errors in his code
+ Removed infinite air-grenade special + hyper combos
+ Corrected errors in phantom image code
+ Fixed two blocks of AI script that kept certain moves from working
+ Re-enabled multiple palettes
+ Added code that is designed to catch/prevent sprite teleporting and/or cloning

You can get him over at the Gamewalkers website: http://gamewalkers.com/games/mugen/characters/rambo/

If you find any other bugs or issues with him after this release please let me know and I'll work on getting them corrected ASAP.
