Hello, after a long break I started working on Mugen again. I'm still taking a break from One Piece characters and trying something new;
Kingdom Hearts. So here is my first character from Kingdom Hearts Chain of memories: Hades.

Due to lack of sprites, these characters will have less moves and some missing animations,
but I hope you can still have fun with them.  :)

These chars will mostly be 4 button characters, some with less and some with more special moves/supers.
Movelist is in the Readme.

Hello, here is my next char: Dracule Mihawk from One Piece. (Gigant Battle sprites)

He has:

- 4 attack buttons + "knockdown attack" & "special movement" (dodge & evade)
- 8 special moves + 4 command moves
- 4 EX moves
- 3 super moves

Movelist is in the Readme.

Maybe now I can start working on Kizaru...

Luffy or Zoro PLZ

I already made Luffy... As for Zoro, I have plans for making him, but I might do Kizaru first.
So... If my mood doesn't change, my next three chars will be in order:

1.Kizaru
2.Zoro (before timeskip)
3.Law or Ace

I present my third mugen character: Donquixote Doflamingo from One Piece. (Gigant Battle 2 sprites)

He has:

This char took a lot of time to make... Mostly because I lost my interest halfway through, so I had to take a break.
But finally he is finished! ;D I'm planning to do yet more One Piece chars, as soon as I have more spare time...

- The dash back/hop back could be more faster.

I thought its fine like that, but I'll see if I can make it faster/longer.

- The jump is a bit high and slow compared to other characters.

I needed him to jump pretty high because of his aerial attacks, I think I could fix the jumping speed though...

- Some moves could have more (just a little) of pausetime.

Which pausetime do you mean? Should I add more pausetime to Luffy when he performs the move or to p2 when he/she receives the hit?

- I think you should include hitsparks and super bgs to make the character more "attractive".

He has MUGENs default hitsparks, I'm not sure where I could get custom sparks and what sparks would fit him best...
As for the super bgs, I personally  dont like those much and when I tried using them I couldn't make them look good.

- Luffy doesn't have palettes.

I don't (yet) know how to do custom palettes. Personally I dont care for him having other colors, although it is pretty
annoying to fight against himself with same colors.

Thanks, I have already made almost a dozen characters, and this one felt solid enough to share.

his normal grabs dont have a grab sound like his special move grabs

Yeah, I will add a grab sound to his normal grab too, I'm not sure why I didn't do it in the first place...

ex grab doesnt have a grab sound either and send you moving back with the opponent and yea..looks weird and off

I was lazy, so I didn't actually code his ex vortex as a grab, just added lots of hittime to p2...
I tought it looked fine to me, but I can fix it. :)

his gunfire is too active, you can block it for about 4 seconds even though its disappeared from the screen

Um, I'm not sure what you mean by that, maybe I should fix the projectiles guard distance parameter?

would be cool if liberation purple fx hurt the opponent, like it slowly dragged them in(like his special grabs) and raised them up to the ruble
imo so that he cant be hurt while summoning the ruble

Well, he already cant be hit with normal attacks while he is doing that move and I don't want the p2 to be sucked in because that super
is supposed to only shoot the rubble to his enemies. Also, the blackhole super already sucks p2 in and launches him with the rubble...

I noticed that he doesnt really have any basic combos or anything like that, perhaps in the future give him a more variety set of combos?
Like, after his launcher, give the opponent more hitstun so that you can combo or link into his gun special or his liberation super.

I'm not very good at making combos... Maybe I will give it a try in my next characters. Hmm, Blackbeards crouching kicks were
supposed to be able to combo in to his pistol fire, I will have to add more hittime to those...

Also, his ex sand kick launcher can be followed with upward vortex, but I will check that too.

I noticed after playing against him with different characters that his being launched animation(mvc style) shows him laying down going up.

I always have trouble adding those animations. I have to check that too...

Hello, I have been playing MUGEN since 2005 and decided to join this forum now. I have been checking this forum
daily, but never had a good reason to register. I have been working on creating my own characters for a year now,
and thought maybe I could finally share my creations here and get them some feedback/fix suggestions.

I'm a big fan of anime "One Piece" and currently working on some characters from One Piece Gigant Battle -game for MUGEN.
I also have some other, unfinished creations...  (I sometimes suddenly lose my interest on some characters I'm working  >_<)

I like fighting games like Street Fighter, KOF, Tekken, Soul Calibur and more. Well, I think that's it. :)
