no, deception. the graphic was reworked, as I got several pm saying that the original picture  was too skinny for the Italian stallion. I am getting quite a mix response on which is preferred..... v:( i'll put it back and you guys can say which is nicer then.

Thanks for the Rocky vote,

"Make the white in the shorts for the stars and the stripes different from each other and the rest of the character. Make the red in the gloves different from the stripes also.
You'll be able to have a completely solid short, or 1 stripe on the side, or the flag look. " - I'll do my best.... lots of png to work on...

Fixed[hopefully] - Forward Jump sprites are very misaligned
Fixed - qcb+K causes debug flood.
Fixed - Air Whip can be performed several times in the row, so Axel ends up flying to P2 lol
Fixed - Missing sounds when running, jumping, landing, etc.
Fixed - qcb+C on a cornered opponent can be followed by multiple juggles with s.LK for example, leading to massive damage.
Fixed - It doesn't look nice when Axel comes down to the ground after Dragon Wing. He comes back too fast and unnaturally
Fixed - P2's custom state during f+Z throw looks pretty bad. Try to base it on KFM to launch P2 properly.

clarification/Need to clarify,
not a Typo - "Typo in the readme for Grenade, it's Y+B, not A+B+C. " Ans: ABC is the car bomb, YB is grenade or throwing knife

Axel's downloading has been updated, the link is the same as the 1st post. 
I need more criticism about BlazĂ©.....  and Adam Hunter [ besides the poor sprite graphics].

AHH. OK. I see your point on the 2 knee moves.

dragon wing need some fixing. agree.

I get what u are telling me about adam.  although  I m not trying to make a cvs adam, I will endeavor to clean up adam to get back the sega bare knuckle feel. [ maybe a cvs adam , if I clean up the sega version. :)  ]

not sure what you mean by "I just don't see any kind in it continue. Second one is not so good." can elaborate?
have you try this combo? : rising knee -> power knee -> power knee, some comment if, possible on this?

noted : Dragon wing is not so good. improve on it or take it out altogether?
noted: pixel gfx is bad for adam[look into his pants]  and axel[taunt] ... will improve on them.

Updated the download. version  from 0.8 => 0.96. waiting for criticism to fine tune. then will turn it into a release version.

Not trying to make a knock off.. L.X.L. is his name in abbreviation.
check out the youtube video... the new skills are there... and i dont know how to describe them all in words.
skills are not from feilong, mostly based on his movies or his real life demo at long beach or training videos , or green hornet or longstreet series
if they are the same as feilong then its because feilong is using his actual skills, like his side snap kick or his famous bi-Jee(or finger jab)

extra work.... hmmm.... apart from the fact that feilong was use as a reference for spriting...
his stance[standing, crouching] , walk , run, moves, special, super are all different from feilong.
the only thing that is mostly the same is when he gets hit. all the [5000-5999] states are pretty similar to fei I guess.
 I did upgraded the being hit animation, but there's only so much that can be done in that area.
cos I don't know how someone will look very different when they get hit and I don't think people will pay a lot of attention to the sprite difference of being hit?.
 
but I added one or 2 skill that's totally imagined... for coolness sake.

just to gauge general expectation are people looking for a exact to life version? (in terms of MOVES/skills)
In that case, in my opinion:
Dragon from world hero is like 20% accurate (Back fist and dragon kick)  too bulky? lol
Feilong's moves are like 35% accurate, (Dragon kick from [SFA],finger jab, standing side snap, back fist, beating flash kick like the demo at long beach in 1967) right proportion and seriousness.
then I would say that this char is about 90%--95% accurate. (the 5% I think is more the fact that it is a game to have some fun and some coolness aspect)
 
not adding palette for this character at all... too much work.... palette to be added for the hi-res version.

his war cries and taunts are his own words and sounds... none are from from feilong or dragon or any of the bruce lee clones  or knock off.
Cos i ripped them from his 5 movie DVDs

Yea. I thought so too. Pixel painting is really hard. :P sigh.... lol.
will try to do something about it.

I think if I want more definition, the sff size might explode exponentially... ouch... 50mb for lo res.... hi res..... might hit 250 to 300mb just for the sff..... ouch.

I guess his play style is a mixed of KOF and SF2.
catch/throw/slam is SF2 system. has a side step that I guess is KOF.


as to the balancing I think may be biased... maybe the you guys can comment on that after the char is released.

I understand. took me 3 years to do this char, char is not released yet and if people are going to be flaming....

I guess the flaming should only come in "after" the character is released? lol. people are not happy with it after actually trying out?

Created a Bruce Lee character, started off using Feilong from SF2 New Challenger, but eventually the sprites were completely redone.
character is made for WinMugen.

Seeing if the response is good before releasing it.
all the war cries are from his movies.
Intro and ending are also done.
Currently, the sff is around 50mb....
Intro and Ending is about 300mb...
 
I'm currently working on the Hi res version of this character for 1.0

If you guys want him to be release please leave a comment.
No flaming please, "Flame" after the character is released. lol. Thanks.

yes. bruce is my first character. he is  done version 1.5. but I'm trying to do a hi-res version. so again pixel painting is the pain. all his skills are completely redone, although he looks a little like the feilong from SF2 new challenger  everything from stance to walk to skills and super and hyper are base on the movies except for the jumping nunchaks.

spriting is based on the first SOR game, but has skills from all the series.

his look and feel is based on the very first bare knuckle or SOR1 game. The skill set wise will be everything that he has done in all the
SOR. some special include baseball bet, guns and police car... haha but he is not a walk and bash character he is a VS toon.
Skill such as Grand Upper, Rising Knee, Golden Wing and Combo+upper cut will be in.

The pain now Is the upgrading of the sprites via pixel painting [95% done] from the low res SOR rips that I have been using as a fillers..
