Characters with AI that kick in via commands

So sometimes in the middle of a match, the character i'm controlling with suddenly control itself as though it's auto-ai kicks in.

Is there a way to disable this? I'm not talking about Auto-AI at the start of a match, i mean mid-fight or even a few seconds after the match starts. Which usually happens when i'm knocked down or in the middle of a combo. Which makes me believe it's triggered by an input/command or state (in the case of being knocked down)

Any help would be appreciated, this happens on WAY to many characters. 50 - 60% of characters i download have some kinda auto-ai that kicks in either at the start or via command, and it's really really annoying.

Yes. The changes that I have in mind right now are that the screenpack will start much faster (sff size is smaller), more slot options, the lifebar will be included with the screenpack, and there is probably one more that I can't think of now. Like I said, it's mostly a much needed update to performance. Right now I'm debating whether or not I should include PNG transparency in the 1.1 version because that requires OpenGL. Most people seem to not be able to run that.

I made some slight changes to the portrait templates. I'll upload the file later.

This happens against everyone in my roster.

Side note: Your other character, Hka, does not have this issue when using the same move. Enemies knock into the wall and fall on the floor as normal.

Little bug, any move that sends the opponent flying and against the wall causes them to glitch out and fly in the air towards you.

the char you are trying to use has a set LC thats why your ports dont fit yururin you have to make them bigger/smaller according to the LC.
mugen's def localcoord is 320x240.

Actually she has no localcoord, her default is 320x240. Unless that doesn't matter...

Edit:

So umm...it works kinda...but i don't think it's supposed to look kinda off and stuff...

Hmmm your shot there has that issue with my powerbars. They seem to have this odd Light Blue Overlay Pattern and it goes outta the powerbar.

Compare your original shots in the first post with the one u just showed and the ones i posted.

that is one of the reasons that I hate the localcoord in 1280,720 there are always problems ...

Does that just happen to you with those chars?

So i got it to work kinda...but it's still off and the Powerbars are covered in a odd overlay.

I'm actually having a bit of an issue with the ports.

I tried doing what i usually do and just replace the scale for the ports in the fight.def with 0.25 for default (No localcoord) As i don't use Localcoord and i'd have to redo every port i have. And it just didn't work out 100%.

But even when i tried adding localcoord = 400 to the characters and restoring the default scale...it's still messed up.



Localcoord = 400
scale is default

Is there something i'm doing wrong?

I just wanna say i love this new version, it's incredible!

All the issues i had have been resolved...cept 1. Idk if this is intentional or just the way it renders stuff...but is it normal that stuff like Outer Glows, Transparent Images and other color/glow based effects on images, look kinda...pixely? Idk if thats the right word...they look off...like their not truly PNG/Transparent.

This wasn't an issue in FF3. It's not a huge issue, it's just realy jarring. When it showed up like that i got REALLY Scared i did something wrong so i was messing around in photoshop for like 30 minutes trying to figure out what i did wrong :(

Heres an example of what i mean, it's easier to see what i mean then me trying to explain it and sound like an idiot lmao
