And here I thought Mewtwo was judged wrongly at first in Melee (Not that it was good but good lord it was not worse than pichu and kirby). DK being bottom is laughable.
Yeah true to be honest I don't take any tier lists for a game released for not even half a year so seriously.  while I also think DK isn't at the rock bottom I honestly don't see him rising no more then 5 spots at best.  I just thought the current list was just a bit of ironic humor if anything.

Anybody else play Warner's old characters and think they feel increasingly dated and unpolished to play well I'm planning
to give most  of Warner's old characters a big overhaul in gameplay and movesets My current WIP is Big Chicken
and after him I plan to go to Leela and update her.   Anyway the list of general changes and changes
for the character in progress

General for most characters
-SF3 sfx  instead of MVC or Mugen default with a few exceptions
- Removal of MVC backgrounds in super/hyper moves
- Supers now doing only damage proportional to how much super bar it takes.  
  (No more 400 damage super taking only 1 bar)  
- Hitboxes redone for optimization
- English voices for characters that don't already have one  
- General decloning from KFM meaning a lot of chars will no longer do variants of KFMs moves with Leela being the exception as she kinda fits with his moveset.

And or Big Chicken himself
-Two new special moves Rolling tackle grab and Pipe smash with KFM clone moves being deleted
-slightly floatier physics
- 2 air jumps vs 5 for Warners version
- Fire extinguisher is now   HCB  + P now   It stuns a little longer,
but is now very unsafe on block.
- Card projectile move removed his wind gust projectile will now be his only one.
- Super moves will no longer be activated by  :02:  :03:  :04:  plus two attack buttons
  you must input QCF twice and only one attack button.
- Big bird super now kicks faster
- intro music no longer plays when skipped
- Some elements of Judgespears version will be imported to this version.



Oh and I already have a few edited character made a while ago if anybody wants to check them out as well.

So I was looking at the latest tier list at Eventhubs and does anyone find it ironic that a Kong character is both a top and bottom

I got a few rough Sagat edits to share the first one was a sprite I tried to show to Ghost killer for his SF3 Sagat project,
His SF4 crouching.medium kick I don't think he will be using it, but I bet someone somewhere will want to use this with
some editing.



The second one is a sprite animation i made a while back a slight edit to his Hard kick, now it doesn't animate any
more fluidly then the original, but I the ending animation is now edited to look more like a his leg is actually retracting,
rather then simple reverse of frames like in the base game.

Also, I'm working on converting Sagat's Dramatic KO anim from SVC to SF3 style. HUGE thanks to Alex for helping with the first frame that I resized. I am currently making the lines and cleaning the second and third frames.



I can't wait to see the finished animation, speaking of which if you gonna take the SVC Dramatic KO animation why not upscale and redraw his attack animations as well they look a lot more fluid then the SFA-sh animations he has currently.

I edited WlanmaniaX's Trophies a bit better colors and scale for Rocko and for Zim he has been redrawn a bit to match his increased size for the trophy.

I know this in SFA style and quite honestly a pretty rough edit, but I made his crouching medium kick from SF4 if you wanted to use it as a base for your project.

This is a nice update to Juri she does seem to play a bit smoother this time around, however there are some things I hope you will address.
- Standing Medium punch should move Juri a bit forward like in SSF4
- EX moves give back power
- Can't store her fireballs
- Back dash is slower then it ought to be
 
This is shaping up to be a nice Juri I just hope that she gets the few issues she has sorted out. :)

Hey Ghost killer any chance you could update Sagat's normals to SF4 versions as to make his moveset
 contain less recycled animations?  I know know these are verrry bad screenshots of his new normals in
SF4 but I hope you see what animations I'm talking about anyway here's the updated moves he had in SF4.

Crouching light punch-


Crouching Medium kick-


Standing Medium kick-


Air forward medium punch-


Air neutral Heavy Kick-


I think most of these would be very simple edits to do as Sagat has similar animations in some of his sprites to do some
 frankenspriting and Sagat already has a near indentical animation in his SFA3 sprites for the Standing medium kick.

Edit: fixed two pic that were upside down I have no idea why they displayed like that.

But they're wasting slots!
To that I say whatever, Doctor Mario is incredibly nostalgic to me and I am personally glad he's back, alternate costume or not.

I'm crossing my fingers that if Doc is indeed in the Mario tornado is his down B so at least one variant of Mario
can do the rising tornado recovery.  I wouldn't mind if Doc is kind of the unofficial update of Melee Mario.

Nice Blunderbuss although he should be holding the gun with both hands one on the handle and one on the barrel.  Are you planning to involve his Blunderbuss with a super move his gun has so many different projectiles that it would be a waste not to use it for one.

I like this project the sprites you made off the models looks very nice.   I have some ideas for K.Rool  for specials  his crown throw from the first DKC , His running boxing uppercut from DK64 , and his Hip drop also from said game as moves and if you feel like making a custom model maybe find a way for his Blunderbuss from DKC 2 to be used.

Hey folks I did this color separation of Ryu in my spare time while working on DK's new sprites and figured I'd share this with everyone.
It's my first full separation so i apologize if it may not be perfect, also this is only sprites of Ryu himself, Sorry no Hadouken or portraits.  I also added a few edits in for laugh I will warn you most of them are rubbish just made for laughs.

Feedback:
  • Supers don't take any meter.
  • CLSNs are shoddy in some spots (jittering in s.LP and c.LP idle)
  • No negative edge.
  • Width is wider than the CLSNs. Never do that.
  • His throws can miss at close range (partly due to the issue of having size.ground.front and size.ground.back wider than the CLSNs like I said.
  • Simply having Principal McVicker disappear when he's hit is... odd. At the least make some gethits and have him run offscreen.
  • Kind of useless to have two projectile specials when the properties of them aren't too different. I'd say get rid of the spitball special.

To be fair this is a spriteswap of my Beavis so most of issues present here were from my Beavis pretty much save for the supers not taking any meter.  I could patch both him and Beavis to fix these since these are things I feel were on my part.

this was posted at MFFA a couple of days ago. i got the ok from Ax to work on this character. Ill be re-releasing this char this week....all fixed. so hold on guys, i know this is incomplete as FUCK...
Personally I think it's gonna take more then a week to fix him I'm sure this DK has a ton of problems to fix I'd try two weeks at minimum.  If you want DJ_HANNIBALROYCE  when I get to cleaning up and redoing DK's sprites I can give you the redone graphics to use I still want to do my own version, but I'll be more then happy to share anything redone with you.

When Ax said on MMV that he was going to clean up the sprites before releasing DK I assumed it would be more then well just adding a tie.  No matter I needed hand drawn looking base for a DK V3 I so wanted to do when I get access to my computer again I'm gonna give these sprites an overhaul starting with his stance and give him a proper standing on all fours kind of thing just for a start.

Hey everyone though been lurking around in the Mugen world for a while this is my first edit/release here.  I thought I would show the some edits of Warner's cartoon characters I thought the original versions of these characters needed a big edit and update frankly their gameplay felt kinda bad too be honest, so I polished them up a bit.  The biggest change you may notice off the bat is they will no longer feel like a spritewap of Kfm with a few changed moves.  I have gave them all their own physics and movement speeds now and unlike a lot of edits of cartoon characters I focused on making the gameplay tighter and not silly stuff like sprite compatibility with obscure moves or needless helpers.   The characters movesets have changed quite a bit as well so reading in their new readme files is a must.
