A lot of what I'm seeing listed makes this thread yet another "my favorite characters" list.
I'd say MUGEN's biggest icons are Kung Fu Man and Dragon Claw.
That's part of why I mentioned the EVE screenpack, actually. I don't care for it, but have seen it a lot.

So...I've been here for several months now, but have just been sort of there. Been messing around with M.U.G.E.N and having fun with it, and finding it a nice gateway for series I wouldn't have known much about otherwise.'
I do have one thing to nervously confess to you guys... Apart from Touhou Hisoutensoku (and Smash Bros. if that counts), I haven't really played any fighting games, but I intend to learn and I feel particularly interested in 'em. Unfortunately real life situations make it so I can't afford to get any. Probably part of why I don't feel ready to create much of anything yet, since I lack proper FG know-how. 
Anyway, I'm glad to be part of this community, whatever the case. It seems like a fairly nice one.
