Oh I see.. that makes sense cause I could not for the life of me find out how to insert these fonts as timed messages in the engine itself.. been lurking for days now lol. So in I do have to replace the sprites in each character after all. Thanks.

Thanks for your replies guys. XGargoyle, I've made my new fonts but I still don't know how to add them and make them appear at the right time. I'm trying to install these 8: Counter, First Attack, Guard Cancel, Just Defended, Tech Hit, Reversal, Finish, and Perfect.
【 HadeS 】, I appreciate the link but I'm only getting rid of the yellow sprites that appear on the characters, not their grooves. I actually really like the ex-groove and want all my chars to have them.

Aawww, aaaawwwwwww. I'm two weeks late. just as I was getting all stoked to join n shit lol. but this is very unfortunate news. it sounded like an amazing project, and a big opportunity for me. I'd be so down to support you guys if there is ever a TEAM MFG revival.

I'm basically looking for a suggestion and help on creating/assigning new fonts, so if this post is in the wrong forum, I apologize. I want to get rid of the yellow CvS2 style boards that appear when my characters preform certain actions, and replace them with new SvC style ones.

I know that the cvs2 boards are sprites and that I may have to replace them with my new fonts. But that's where my question comes in.. How should I go about doing this? Am I going to have to replace each sprite or can I simply disable/remove them and install the new fonts in a different way? like as part of the screenpack?.. please bear with me guys, I'm kinda a noob in mugen development. >.<

Greetings! I'm Damo. I could not remember my old username/pw so I just made a new profile.. I think it was something like Demon_Hyo? xD Anyway I'm a long time m.u.g.e.n. player, but now with a goal in mind, I will be editing/creating (on 1.0). I also hope to make new friends and interact with the community.
I'm very much into fighting games (obviously). Some of my favorites are: Capcom vs Snk 2, Project Justice (Rival Schools), SSF4, Samurai Showdown, GGXX, KOF, pretty much anything that's Capcom and Snk Playmore. My mugen roster consists mainly of cvs2 style chars, I love Warusaki3's creations. One of my goals is to have a roster full of similar style characters available with the infamous ex-groove. I also hope to make a custom screenpack in the near future. So there is a lot of work to be done. A big thank you in advance to those who help.
