yeah, the custom states go for that animation number, but for some reason adding the sprites linked them to the portrait sprite.

so i tried to make fatality frames for the character haruhi suzumiya by choiyer. this was the result. 
the only thing i think i may have screwed up on is adding the sprites. anyone know a solution?

i have mike obrecht's mortal kombat characters, which have special frames used in the fatalities.(e.g. head being ripped off, body cut in half, etc.) there's a tutorial in all of his character folders on how to make these frames, but these tutorials aren't clear enough. can anyone explain how to make these frames a little better?
