Browsing through codes to see if I could learn the language, there's been something that's been confusing me.  I've done a quick search of elebyte and this site through google for a more indepth cns tutorial.  My understanding of States are that they're like paragraphs of code which contain a StateDef as a sort of indent followed by several lines of States that all execute in series and also in time.

My first question is, why do some people use different State values from the StateDef in a line, such as if someone were to make an attack at StateDef 2600, then follow up the State lines labelled as 2100 2000 1000 2520 etc...  Wouldn't 2600 2600 2600 2600 or 2600.1 2600.2 2600.3 2600.4 or even blank [State ] work just as well?  Is there a point to that sort of thing?

Next, is the point of multiple cns files more about organization or computer resource management?
