Concerning the Arm Hold Method, DKDC is right. You would need custome sprites for every single M.U.G.E.N character, which is exhausting. I think the best method s to make it a back throw without the arm method. But OK, I'll give'em a try. :)
Like i said, we can just create an illusion of arm hold, while the opponent will still use his common liedown sprites. The rest will be easy, i guess.

Tell me what sprites are needed for Hokuto, and I'll see what I can do.  Your project is very ambitious and I'm glad your doing this.
First is her Back Throw which i labeled Hokuto Method Arm Hold, but there be needing a trick. We need to somehow create an illusion of arm hold, since victim will use common required liedown sprites. To know what is her back throw, you can see SFEX movies about her in YouTube.
Optionally, you can sprite her EX+Aplha Crouching Kick. It's image is in my first post, the second spoiler.

I'll be glad to continue my work on redoing chuchoryu's Hokuto(Throw Update is the next one), but i'm afraid my work is remain to be stuck because of lack of sprites for Back Throw. I'm still waiting for one who will provide me sprites needed. If you are spriter, and are interest in assist me, i'll be very glad to accept your willing to help, and will credit you for sprites provided.

I asked my friend if he has such - judging from his nickname that says Dan_Hibiki, he should have at least one. He responded that he has one - it's the altered Dan Hibiki by Phantom.of.the.Server. I realyy insisted on him to share that, because he refused to share anything with forum that, he said, "disappointed" him. Anyway, he's going to share that, because, i told him, that Mugen Figthers Guild is just as marvellous as Mugen Multiverse, where i met Dan_Hibiki, my now-is-best-friend and trainer.

Alright, so next update is throw update and i'm in very need of sprites for back throw. Also, there's option to do EX+Alpha Sweep sprites, i'm going to replace Crouch Sweep with new one.

Alright so i just ran this and theres some major issues i saw right off the back.
-Palette swaps in and out of each other.
-Pink boxes still around the sprites.
Yeah, first problems i encountered, and also, i thinked that adding background shade will make it transparent. Whoops! It didn't!  :uhoh:

That's why i have "Resolve issues with new Sprites" in my to do list.

Here i present to you: The Third Beta version of Hokuto, one of my favourite SFEX characters, and also, one of chuchoryu's numerous WIP's! Hokuto is (almost)Redone!

As you all know, chuchoryu make great chars! But almost all of 'em, and Hokuto is not except, suffer the same issue: They are unfinished Beta! :(

But fear no more! I am to the rescue! Right now i redo the char named Hokuto, so it has all things source-accurate character have, and then pass the copy of it to chuchoryu so he need to do little with her. But redone char is redone, so after that, i keep work on my original version, with all new moves!  :thumbsup:

This time i update last time before throw update, where normal throws are being added! Hands up for further redoings!  :sugoi:

She has some issues with that new sprites i gave her, but i think we(me and chuchoryu) will get over it and fix dem issues.

How to add:
1) UnArchive into \chars\ in your Mugen Folder
2) Either rename "HokutoRedone" to Hokuto and add in select.def "Hokuto", or in select.def add "HokutoRedone/Hokuto.def"

Not to mention all moves involving her hopping doesn't make her hop. Standing HK, Close HP and F+MK all should be given Y-arc. Also, no throws. Super moves are also should get some work on them. For example, the same Fuharenjin. It supposed to throw 6 projectiles, 3 first, then skip and 2 more, and then skip and throw last. chuchoryu made them 5 to be thrown in perfect succesion.

lol i've heard stories but is the 360 pad really that bad?

Was considering switching to stick because I had problems hooking up the dualshock to my pc, but that isn't an issue anymore. Too used to the ps pad though.

For fighting games where you need extreme precision? Is not optimal at all.

- The D-Pad is stupid and uncomfortable. You end up jumping by just pressing left or right due to the way it works. You only had one job!!!

- The buttons are indeed kinda pointy and uncomfortable to use at times especially when you have to press more than one at the same time.

- The triggers are not suited for fighting games. The difference between the trigger on an idle state and on a pressed state is ambiguous because it's not a button but a trigger with several thresholds. Is not that great for 1 frame combos or anything like that because it's hard to know WHEN you're actually pressing it.

- The RB is known for getting busted eventually due to the way the button was made like and how much use it has in games so if you're unlucky you may eventually find the button getting pressed again while RELEASING it, fucking up combos. The LB gets far less use so it rarely breaks.

- The analog is cool though, can't complain although again, you may jump by accident as expected.

So... Unless you are not PC player, keyboard is way out this things? Unless i'm mistaking and XBOX are also treated with keyboards.
