Just for fun :
http://zesensei.free.fr/tmp/Bastard_130.zip

Hello,
No problem.
In the last Word file I upload you should have seen that that I've put italian sentences of other characters, this mean I've converted those chars into text files.
The french part will be done once all will be in english, or when I'll have time to do it.
I've changed of work during last month and this mean I've not as much time to continue (and it was a few before).
I'll probably continue a little bit during the week of 18th august.
That's what I mean when I write I work slowly.
3 children, full time job... takes time IRL. Which does not mean I quit Mugen or projects, just I do it when... sometimes.

I really understand that working on other projects with people with more time is much more satisfying.
I'll do as much as possible by myself (continue to write the old italian part as text, translate all you've put in English in French, should take monthes with my... speed ;) )
Then maybe you (or another) could help me continue.

For now, thanks a lot for all that you've translated, it couldn't have been done without you.
Hope the final result will suit yu (maybe in years, lol).
Regards,

Well about names it should change.
I was first based on Japanese ones but after some searches I find that English names are differents from Japaneses ones (due to copyright problems).
I think I should use English names in English part, Italians in the Italian part... It will be less accurate to original books but it should be more comprehensive for all readers.
Thanks again for the help.

[edit]
Main aim of this work is to use localization option of Mugen: all texts are now... real texts. So it became really simple to add other languages or change words in sentences. Thanks Elecbyte for this new feature.

Thanks a lot. That's great and help me a lot.
You can put the italian version also before the english one.
So you can correct puntuaction or grammar for the later releases and it will help me place the good sentences at the right time.
Thanks again.

Hello,
I haven't seen this topic before.
I've done the same thing with this full-game, hosted on my website (years ago with author permission).
Great job anyway.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the answers.
All texts and speechs are in Italian only.
If someone can translate them for me, it would be great.
What I will do is extract the text so they became text one (actually all texts are pictures) so I could keep both Italian and English version.
The japonese part (an extra) would be to replace speeches (in battle) by their japanese voices, but to do it I must first understand what they mean to find them in the whole OAV set.
Regards,

Hello,
I don't speak italian (maybe in another life).
http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/bastard-the-fighting-game-tonyadv-help-need-159562.0.html
Could anyone help me translate texts and speech from this game into english ?
I could give a text file, with screenshot if need, of all texts (in a few month, I work slow, or have a few time for it ;) )
I have OAV in japonese but i can't understand a word of what in-game characters says, so I don't know what to re-sample to add japonese voices.
Summary : does anyone can help me to translate it ?
You can contact me by the guild profile or zesensei@free.fr.
Thanks a lot.

Hello,
I've fixed TonyADV's full game : Bastard !! The Fighting Game, so it works with Mugen 1.0.
It's hosted on my website with his permission (or authorisation, forgive my bad english).

http://zesensei.free.fr

I would like to continue the update by translating it.
Does anyone have italian for native langage and can help me translate it in English ?
Also, I will try to do further upgrades if some Bastard !! fans are interested in it and have materials like pictures used in this game of better quality, voice rips...
Regards,

i got the screenpack installed and i see black bars how do i fix it
This should be related to your resolution. This screen pack is made for 1280*960, mean you should have black borders on other resolution (such as mugen native one).
Change your resolution in the mugen.cfg file in the dara directory (with any text editor, it contains helps).

The Mugen Museum Matrix Screenpack
made by zesensei
02/05/2014
for Mugen 1.1

http://zesensei.free.fr/?page_id=427

This screenpack was made mainly to host the Mugen Museum of Electrocaid.
The Mugen Museum is not inclued in this screenpack.
You can find the Mugen Museum (a list of all works created for Mugen) at http://dsarena.free.fr
This screenpack need a lot of memory to run, and a good processor due to the use (abuse) of HD graphics.
This screenpack can host up to 18 200 characters.
This screenpack is optimized for a resolution of 1280*960 (4:3)

How to install :
- Unzip files in the root directory of Mugen, it will not erase any of your files.
You can find/check all files in the directory data/mmatrix.

Two ways to use it :
- Simple way (too simple for you...)
OPen with a text editor the file mugen.cfg that is available in the data directory.
Change the line
motif = data/system.def
into
motif = data/mmatrix/system.def
Then you'll run Mugen with this screenpack each time you run Mugen.
To return to previous state, simply undo your change in the mugen.cfg file.

- Good way (that's your way)
Right click on your Mugen.exe file and choose the option 'Create a shortcut'.
Right click on your shortcut and choose 'properties'.
In the aim text box you'll find a text like D:\mypath\myfolder\mugen.exe (this is an exemple :) your should be different).
Simply add '-r mmatrix' without quotes to this text.
Then the aim text box should be like D:\mypath\myfolder\mugen.exe -r mmatrix (with my exemple, still not the same path as yours).
Lunch the shortcut and 'voila' you run the screenpack without changing anything to your old Mugen configuration.
Best : you can change the shortcut name or icon easely and run several look'n feel of Mugen within the same install.

sprmake2.exe limits, random crash on big data ingestion

Hello,
I'm trying to make a sff from png file extracted from a movie.
This mean a lot of png files (more than 300, at end it will be more than 700).
To be gentle, I only use HD pictures (1280*960, 8 bpp).
So I try to make the sff (V2) with sprmake2.exe (wether it's the one from 1.0 or 1.1 it crash) and then it crash.
Here's a link to the material that crash on my computer :
http://zesensei.free.fr/tmp/bench-mugen.zip
You only have to unzip the file, then go into the created directory with a DOS box (cmd in the start menu of Windows) and run
Code:
sprmake2.exe data/mmatrix/selectsff.def
Where the mugen.exe file is.
Feel free to tell me if it also crash on you computer (or not).
Mine is a 64 bits Win 7, with 8 Go of memory and 8 cores.
Mean it's not a memory size limit on the computer, nor a processor limit.
I could only guess what's happening with this tool.
Thanks for the help.

[..]
This topic is a copy of another one on Elecbyte forum, so numerous people could test and telle me if the sample crash or not on their computer.
The bench file should be uploaded in 30 minutes (it's 130 Mo to upload).
Regards

Hello,
Sorry for bumping up this topic but I'm having the same problem.
I'm using sprmaker2 to make a sff frrom movies pictures (a short looped clip).
When I use sprmaker2 it tells me all my picture are identical and remove them all (98% duplicate sprite, doh).
Is there a way to remove the 'detectduplicates' option, as it doesn't seem to use it in the .def file ?
Regards,

[edit]
It was my fault, my sff.def file was messy. All went right when I fix it.
Regards,

Voili voilou.
