Just tested and seems like everything besides de EX moves damage is fixed. I checked gui's edit and she also does less damage for some reason, so this is not your fault. The only thing I noticed is there is still a common.snd that is not part of the character. Anyway, good job and thanks for sharing!

So this is just a effects update, right?
- Kaisaki no Kakou has no text on Hyper Finish
- I don't know if this was present before the edit but her EX moves deals less damage than the Special ones
- Why did you include a fightfx? This is what is big and not Karin's sff
- I'd suggest, since you're updating effects and not the gameplay, to change the landing effect and sound
- There are some hitspark sprites in the sff that are not being used, not the colored sparks, but there is one animated spark that simulates what the spark helper does, since they are identical, I'd say to remove the animated one.

There's not much to say since you didn't change gameplay and we all know PotS creations. Would be cool if you could make MAX Versions of LV1 supers and toned down version of LV2. It's looking good, keep it up :)

Edit: I didn't see you pointed about NDSilva's sparks so forget about this part. lol

Thanks for clarifying that, that's what I read before but I wasn't /entirely/ sure that was true since I was just aimlessly searching through post. And I've chosen the "personal use editing" route which will /eventually/ become a full game. So I can't use Hitoverride or reversal def so I'm still trying to use the code posted above by Seravy

The results so far are this:



It's pretty much what I want, but the issue is that it /only/ seems to work when the character is going against themselves. It literally doesn't work on any other character, the moment you're grabbed you put into state 802, and the code above lets me interrupt the grab by pressing "start", and since I've added clsn boxes the hit actually connects and leads to the custom state. If I could figure out how to make this universal then everything would be perfect.~

I've trying for days now and no luck, I've tried so many triggers--the odd thing is I can get it to work off if the trigger is just a statedef, but whenever I add a trigger that involves pressing a button it just doesn't work /unless/ you're fighting the same character.


My current code:

Amazing edits! The Bison in Cloud stage is kinda off but these edits looks cool. :)

Yes the HR sprite doesn't mesh well with the low res aspects. Try using CVS or alpha sprites instead. Personally taking out the background elements and people made the stages too empty. Instead you could replace them with other elements....

I thought the Mumen Rider guy had some martial arts skill. He's just a normal guy though, so it's kinda moot when compared to the stronger heroes. Kinda comparative to Hercule in DBZ. He CAN actually fight, but since he has no abilities like the Z fighters and so on, it makes him look weak compared to them. I don't think Saitama will need to be "nerfed". You're thinking to literal in terms of a fighting game. If it were taken exactly like the source material, adapted into a FG, well...only Superman would get picked in Injustice. :P

He'll play within the confines of the game.

Wondering about the roster, I guess the hero side will be mostly dominated by the S-class heroes, since they get much more screentime and character development than the other classes. Mumen Rider and Fubuki will likely be the only C and B-class to be included. A-class will probably be just Amai Mask and maybe Iaian and/or Death Gatling.

Sonic and Lord Boros are already confirmed, and it's obvious Deep Sea King and Garou will also be included.

Or if that's too unbalanced then just give him super armor and when he loses just have he say he's bored and leaving.

Pretty sure this is the route they'll take, like have him remember about a sale and forgetting about his opponent, who then wins by proxy.

Wasn't Mumen Rider a complete joke?  I only watched the first season, never cared to look into reading the manga or watch the second season.  But the guy had no powers or skills, right, he was just a Kamen Rider wanna-be on a bike?  Or did they make something out of him after fighting in the rain?

He is, for all intents and purposes, just a regular guy with a bicycle. He has zero fighting skills and his every single appearance ends with him being sent to the hospital. Yet he is the number one C-class hero and outwardly refuses to be promoted into the B-class.

Can't wait to play with Pri Pri Prisoner... Angel Rush !!!!

They'll definitely censor him if he is included. But I doubt it will happen, since his mere presence will raise this game's age rating.

In the Street Fighter games, each stage has two music tracks - starting with one and then switching to the second when either player reaches low health. I know I can do this if I add the BGM to the character's snd (this will only work right in arcade mode as in vs mode the stages are random) but that's wav only (the resulting file would be huge) and doesn't support loop points. Is it possible in MUGEN 1.1 to somehow do this using mp3 and with loop points?

Hmmm so Yamazaki does have a projectile huh? It comes in with a level 4 Drill tho. Warusaki had a good reference on how the Drill move was originally

It does seem to lack some impact and weight to it, but I'm not sure what to do about that either. The build-up time for Drill before he starts is too long, and the kick and Drill itself don't have envshake, but I'm sure you're working on that.

I also do feel like EX Fight of Tempering should OTG, but that might make it too strong. Also, not sure if this was by design, but if the initial hit of EX FoT misses, the first stomp will still trigger, but nothing else will happen if that connects.
