So I recently downloaded these Darkstalkers lifebars called [Lifebar1280] Vampire Savior by Phantom Blood. (I'm not sure how to place a link to it.)

I've been trying to find a way to lower the counter numbers of the powerbars just as I did for the bars themselves but I just can't figure it out.



Can someone help me out? I'm using Mugen 1.1

Hey bro, Thanks alot for this, this is the best tag system i've used! I wanted to ask you, that with the Ikemen .99 Build there was a red life regen issue where it would regen past the grey life area. This issue persisted even when I turned red life off. I saw on the discord this was a fixed issue, so I updated with their nightly build, but the issue is still there, and i believe its due to this tag system. Can you please look into that when you have a chance? I really like this tag system and it will be very hard to go back to the default tag without assists. Thank you!

Digital images look the same no matter what device you use to produce them. You can use almost any image ditor from Paint to Aseprite.

So, I've recently figured out where my sounds go in: in scripts. the only problem is that I don't know which part of the script to put it in. so I would like to ask you if you know where to put the command in or if you know the little slew of text that allows me to put the sound in.

Reading the first post should help you understand a lot of things really fast.

But it sounds like you just want to know how to put a sound into a specific move. So first thing you need to know is how to find out where that move is.
If you press CTRL+D it'll bring up the debug info. Do the move and you should see the values change. Watch what State you enter when you do the move.
Open the char with Fighter Factory and in the CNS file search for that number plus
]
so something like 718]
Use Ctrl+F to bring up the search bar in Fighter factory.
Somewhere in that state you'll see Anim=718 or whatever value it is. Type that value in the search bar, then switch to the AIR file. It'll look like the movie icon. Press enter and it should bring you to the anim 718. Press play, or scrub the bar to watch the animation. If it matches your move you need then you're in the right spot.
If it doesn't keep doing this ^^ process until you find your move.

Now you need to have your sound play.

[State 0, PlaySnd]
type = PlaySnd
trigger1 =
value = S0,0
volumescale = 0
channel = -1

pan = 0

is Fighter Factory's default playsnd, but all you need is

[State 0, PlaySnd]
type = PlaySnd
trigger1 = time = 718
value = S7,18

Put that inside the State and change the 718 and S7,18 to what you need. Did you do what DeathScythe said, or are your sounds already in the snd file and you just want to add it to that move??

I finally found the problem. It wasn't the code itself; the problem was in a system called "tinybuffering" which was causing problems in cmd, making possible to make commands while the character was in another state.

I use 0.99 version and it happens with all characters. Maybe it's because I disable Simul Mode in the main.lua file?

Yes, it seems that this is the problem. I try to play with a new Ikemen with Simul mode enabled and Tag Mode works fine. Problem solved, thanks!

Not removing it, just adjusting it so the player characters wouldnt slide. Your floor isnt super sliding but still enough that it's pretty noticeable.

I started work on the floor art already. I'll let you know when it's done.

EDIT: I tightened up the sliding floor, resynced the bath and bucket and made new floor art to replace the inverted tiles

If your talking about removing the parallax from the floor then probably not. You would need to change the deltas of all the sprites to get it to line up again. The intro should be fine, but the winning pose might get messed up. Give it a shot and see what happens.

I'm probably going to take a crack at patching out that warped floor pattern below the stage, but you think it's safe to fix the sliding floor without desyncing your intros?
