I think the punch of that red ultra would be better on a black and white background. It needs more contrast. The black around it blends in too much. It may end up being very bad on some stages. I'd also say P2 pal FX with a negative effect would be dope as. Dont get me wrong, this doesn't look bad at all.

As it stands, I'm hyped up about this! I've never been a fan of BIG hitsparks but these are decent. I'd LOVE to see some type of slow motion on that ultra based on how far the back edge is. Like it'd time itself out to be slow, and once P2 is against the wall FULL BLAST!!!!

Just found this compilation of Zelda's new victory poses:

I have to say, what they've done with Zelda this time looks great.   Zelda's always been the most boring character in Smash to me because she always had no personality; Her face was expressionless and all of her movements were so reserved.  But now she's more expressive and vibrant than she's ever been.

The sheer level of quality of life improvements being made to this game is remarkable.

I'm just hoping Zelda is actually viable now because she's a fun character to use until you remember that her recovery move is stupid punishable if you don't immediately grab a ledge and Side-B puts her in a helpless fall state for some reason.

In the original version, I used the PNG format for all images. This caused the SFF file size to be larger and for Mugen to take a long time to load and sometimes freeze on startup. But now after converting all images to the PCX indexed format, it loads much faster (less than 10 secs Vs close to a min. This is all based on my end). Removing 200+ sprites and cropping sprites helped too. In addition to quicker loading, OpenGL is no longer required.

Essentially, this version loads faster with the new image format because PCX takes up less space compared to PNG. To clarify, all versions will use the PCX indexed format.

Well since your name is "Baby Bonnie Hood," you should have known those things were missing when you play-tested her. Aren't you the one who made a Baby Bonnie Hood released in 2003 or am I talking about someone else that uses the same name as you?

-Her Hyper Apple For You is missing.
What? But it showed in my video, she have the Apple For You move. :P
That was the normal Apple For You. KoopaKoot's Bulleta has a hyper version of the same move where she trips on a rock and drops explosive apples or guns the opponent down with her Uzis and throws the explosive apples on them if it connects. Don't know why varo_hades would cut this move out instead of leaving it in.

Yes. The changes that I have in mind right now are that the screenpack will start much faster (sff size is smaller), more slot options, the lifebar will be included with the screenpack, and there is probably one more that I can't think of now. Like I said, it's mostly a much needed update to performance. Right now I'm debating whether or not I should include PNG transparency in the 1.1 version because that requires OpenGL. Most people seem to not be able to run that.

I made some slight changes to the portrait templates. I'll upload the file later.

To remove the random icon in your select.def file search for a character called 'random' and rename it any other way.
Meanwhile in your system.def file there's the option to make empty cells selectable. Disable this option.

to clarify, I'm trying to remove the question mark, not the randomizer itself.

also, second thing does not help, the icons are not because of empty cells, they are part of the menu art.

Yup, that's right. Kumagawa got an update!!
The game play is the same as the other version, but here are the changes:
-Two new supers added in.
One is a counter move that can be performed successfully if the opponent attacks physically. (of course it doesn't work on projectiles)
And it can be used only if you have the plus screw activated.
(Command): B, D, DB, D, DF, F, x / 61234x

Now the second new super is where Kumagawa turns his Book Maker into a long red lance, then to strike his opponent down. This super can be performed in mid-air as well.
It can be used only if you have the minus screw activated.
(Command): B, D, DB, D, DF, F, y / 61234y




-A new trigger in his Naked Apron super
Some characters have a special naked apron sprite that shows when Kumagawa pulls off his HADAKA APRON super.
This time the animation is modified.
You can activate this in kumagawa_-2.cns on var(53)



If its not right however...

Yikes, it has been a huge while since I have heard those names pop up at all in this context. I still remember their characters and how bad they were. It was the talk of the town for a while here on the forums and on YouTube.
