and this did a google search on final strike or SRK and got fuck all.
This one has the perfect setup on the select screen for what I am trying to do.

Just a minor nitpick:

He should have used Dampir's FF1 Cody sprites.

I'll be adding the extra sprites from that version for use in the next update.
I'm not too keen on the Shoryuken followups there though.
He also lacks Tenmakujinkyaku sprites.
@M206: Sounds intriguing, I'll message ya some moves to do.

Update:
- Universal Jojo System change: Stand Strike (D, DF, F, c) now causes Stagnant to opponents.
- Universal Jojo System change: Stand Strike can be whiff-canceled from all non-Stand involved ground normals.
- Now uses Van's Buffer.
- Adjusted a certain normals to be more source accurated.
- More lenient input.
- Fixed misplaced dust.
- Fixed Marth's grabs.
- Jaguar Varied Assault's hittime increased.
- MACH ORA Z no longer makes Jotaro losing Screenbound.
- No longer can throw by holding forward + Z.
- Stand Gauge is now hidden when tagged out.

Just tried him out. There are definitely some hindering issues, most of which have been covered. The lack of a damage dampener is a big issue. And I'll add that his level 2 supers inflict half health of damage. That's more than most level 3 supers... I'd definitely correct that. I'm not a fan of the janky walking animation either, but I understand that's no fault of your own.

Besides that, it's a solid base/start. Fix the issues and you got something!

Ok, I may get an update out in not too long.

I also noticed that his SFF is called Sprite(Final Fight) which implies there was an SFF with his original SFA attire.
He also has super text for Last Dread Dust and "Final Fight Destruction" (The latter likely being his SF4 Final Destruction like what I edited).
I hope someone here has a lead on this.

I've known Varo taking code from Infinite from his edit to PotS Ryu (Using his SF4 Messatsu Goshoryu) and Jmm's Ken (Using his Guren Senpuukyaku).

Just by watching the video, I already see problems with the character and more after testing him:
-FXs from Criminal Upper don't properly fade away.
-Guard sparks on basic and special attacks are playing twice when blocked.
-Chaining punches have no damage damper.
-Throw 1 has no swing sound.
-The strong shockwave effect on ground throw 2 is misaligned.
-Violent Punch has no swing sound when missed and the animation when the opponent hit is off.
-Flame Fist has no sliding effect.

Just wishful thinking, I hope RagingRowen considers fixing the character. I bet he could do a better job than varo could.

Somebody just showed me this edit and seems that this Cody has moves taken from Infinite's Cody that was released years back. I hope they credited him atleast
Knowing varo_hades, I doubt it. gui0007 warned him many times regarding that and doesn't do it at all.
