One hit fits the CvS animation/FX better, and also makes the move stronger (because the 2 hit version will often hit only once, so you don't get the full amount of damage).

@AkogareMusouka: Admittedly, that's a really well-thought out moveset for Jay McCray. We'll definitely consider him.

@MR. IBZS II: Scooter would be a hard character to make, as there's not a lot to work with.

My brother has a crazy idea. Scrooge McDuck as seen in the Ducktales game, with Darkwing Duck, Chip and Dale, and Baloo as assists, making for a team based on the Disney Afternoon NES games. If there aren't enough move ideas for Scrooge, Darkwing could be the playable one.

That is tempting to have a separate one though!

I’m hoping once I finish this version I’ll be able to go back through and make a cape version. I love the idea of a cape for a secondary animation. Not stiff like alpha but super flowy.

If you were to revisit it, I'd wholeheartedly tell you to keep the one you've made now. Use this as the Head Stomp special's jump if you do. In no way is it lacking even in the sketches. I like how small/tight it becomes. I think it could use a dynamic cape action with a lot of movement just like the legs.
Though that might make it a little easier to recognize the special earlier.

i love this, hopefully it's not so dark during gameplay, probably gonna edit poison out b/c she's in my roster and it's a tad weird seeing characters in my roster appear in BG's :')
