Can't really see anything to suggest to fix on him, amazing follow up character. I would only like to suggest possibly having the P-Acorn attack function differently. Currently it's perfectly fine, but looks very similar to the Propeller special. Instead of jumping straight up and flying down diagonally, what if it was a damaging airdash or "run and then jump" attack?

I dunno, those feel redundant for me to change into for some reason. Imo, I like the similarities that the two specials have anyway.

bandicam kinda fucked up these sorta, (Tail whip totally freezes during super effects) almost done with the tail whip one, need to get the the slam right, then add the final tail throw. one more super after that. then his allstar and the intro (the hyper dimension one where he shrinks to kid buu from the buff one) and he's done.

would have been done earlier but my enthusiasm as sort of died off and finally returned for buu (didn't want to start working on someone else with him not fully finished)

any suggestions on the supers I'm up to within reason, they are also a bit faster than the video shows.

Great to see that you're back at it. I'm definitely interested in coding her, it would be just what I need to get back into the grind.

I have a really good idea on how she would play, her special and super moves, how to work her strings (Whiplash and Leg Cutter stuff), and other minor details. I just need to think of how to make her fun within Mugen while still making her a defensive/evasive based character.

If Dante gets in, the Project X Zone developers will really regret their decision even more to leave Bayonetta out because she was considered to be with Dante as a paired unit in Project X Zone 2 but she was ultimately dropped.
They were idiots for doing that regardless of Dante being in this game, honestly.
That wasn't PXZ's devs fault. It was Hideki Kamiya who disallowed it. It helps to do a little research before you make these judgements.
That doesn't make it any less stupid.

He created the characters. He wants them to meet on his own terms. Capcom didnt want to be dicks so they obliged by his request.

Okay can we just acknowledge the fact that this character design was very strange and experimental and the game designers were conservative game designers, going what is tested and true? That irony is a little funny but hey, its MUGEN.

Reading your code I also don't see why it's not working. Probably because you're using state -2, weird things happen here. You can always use DisplayToClipboard to keep track of your vars, watch if var(21) is changing according to what you want. My other suggestion is creating a state to go whenever you reach 0 life for the first time, and continue your code from there, but I'm not sure if this will solve... you can give a try.

No. I'm absolutely positive that every single var goes through that parentvarset thing in the helpers. That goes for vars and fvars. And I did try deleting the parentvarset for var 21, thus making it not used anywhere else, and it still didn't work. Is there another way to make something only trigger once? I know I've seen it in another character (in YT vid, so I cannot rip code from it) before.

Thanks for your help! I'll only be able to test it if the main issue is solved first though. ;c
EDIT: I tested it independently of the rest of the code to find out that it does work, thanks DS. Do you have any suggestions for the main problem though?

Nice I'll be looking forward to trying the fixed up Cammy! I was wondering with most of the Darkstalkers cast done in some capacity, not sure if you normally swap out hitsparks or how difficult it would be to convert them, but the Koldskool J. Talbain/Gallon or Zabel/Lord Raptor characters might intererest you for an overhaul if it's within your ability.
