i guess i would say its because of the ubiquity of those sorts of games in western arcades at the time.

i never saw darkstalkers cabs in the states when arcades were a thing (and i was a kid at the tail end of that period) and i saw rival schools maybe once. but i did see cabs that carried 1942 and commando, usually in those multi game ones. they may have been bootleg tho.

I'd expect Darkstalkers to outsell some old-ass arcade shooters if only because of the handful of characters who made it to the versus series, plus how passionate its fanbase is.

I mean, have you seen pornographic fan art of 1942 or Commando? How about Morrigan?

I dont understand what the problem is at this point. You've switched off your task like 3 different ways now. I'm not sure what your current goal is. Like usual. You haven't said what you're working on and what doesn't work and what you want it to do. I cant stress this enough.

What are you currently trying to do? Not a simple "Make two shots work" I need a specific thing. A specific problem.
The 2nd projectile seems to only work with time, not with a command. It also doesn't accept time more than 6 ticks.
Are there any alternatives for this?
Remeber this problem? Remember how close it was to working? And then you just switched everything out? WHY DID YOU DO THAT?? All you needed to do was change the triggers. I dont understand how you didn't realize that. You wanted a move that does 2 shots, and had a move that did 2 shots but didn't think that was close.

When we suggest shit, it's not perfect the first time; Get used to it.

PLEASE, please do not use characters that don't follow the standard way/number system of doing things for your code base. Either they're made by a person who isn't familiar with mugen, OR it's made by a person making a full game. Both ways means trouble.

I just hope that means good things for that Megaman TV show and that movie. But OTOH, Marvel is supposed to be doing that work for MvC, so people still need to actually like the game what you show about the game.
(I'm being a bit cynical here but I really appreciate that they're making this sort of things public and I'm happy that we can see they actually think about what they're doing, this is what proper communication looks like)
(and I'm suddenly super sad to see Breath of Fire sitting in the same sales range as Final Fight, Commando and 1942 - and then I look at Okami and I'm sad for its fanbase)
