So there's a Goku character file and there's something I'm trying to change about him for balancing reasons. Trying to make a...vaguely...balanced Dragon Ball Super roster here. Download link in the description of that video.

Anyway, he's got all the forms in Super so far including Ultra Instinct and Mastered Ultra Instinct. The thing is the Mastered version has an excessively effective auto dodge built in. He'll dodge literally everything no matter how fast unless he is in the process of attacking and he missed, which is rare. In exchange for that, his life ticks away at a constant rate until he dies. Thing is that means he's basically playing by himself and whether he wins or not is totally determined by how tanky the opponent is.

The first Ultra Instinct form has an autododge too, but he only dodges the first hit of a combo and then he can be attacked. I wanna make the Mastered Ultra Instinct autododge exactly the same as the other Ultra Instinct and then remove the life drain so he's actually fighting the opponent instead of being invincible while he races the clock for damage. I do know how to remove or change the life drain but it's unfair to the opponent if I can't fix the auto dodge.

Can someone help me make the Mastered Ultra Instinct form dodge in the same manner as the other Ultra Instinct form so he's not invincible? Preferably with an explanation of how to do it myself. I can handle the other changes.

I am glad you plan to do the KOF and KOF style characters still. I wish I could help but without a tutorial im not sure I could get even close to what you do.

Do you have a template you start with?

you cold always do a portal splat. have Noob cast 2 portals. then have player 2 fall continuously until Noob dismisses the bottom portal and then splat on the ground killing the player.

AFAIK, that's something like Add-On to MUGEN to create UMK3-Like Tournaments, but with 16 chars instead of 8. Maybe even something more than that... And the guy, that keeps rumbling about it (from multiple accounts, like Foobs Sese Seko Nkuku found out) is the Creator of that thing.
While I can understand his Pride of Creator, while I can understand he could put a lot of it in that add-on, I have to say it right in the face: that doesn't make add-on useful. I mean, MUGEN don't do Online, where such thing really could be of use, and if someone wants to do a tournament Offline, then all they need is their personal queue, IRL Rules, and normal VS Mode MUGEN has already, they don't need any add-ons for that. So, no wonder nobody cares about that thing...
But still, MAYBE that Danzey has potential to create something noteworthy. Afterall, that's a thing that can mess with MUGEN. Maybe he will be able to think about something MORE useful, pull this off and finally get the praises he strives for so much.

I hadn't given Fatalities any thought. I like them in MK, they just dont seem the same in Mugen.

I'm currently working on N00b and I had a thought that could increase his move set.. sorta.
The Sub Zero/Clone slide, the Run and tackle, and the Up kick are done with A, B, & C. I was thinking about making it so the player could hold the button down and the clone would last longer. N00b would also be stuck in the call pose longer too.
So say you tapped A to do the slide, it'd go just a bit further than a sweep kick. A long hold would send it all the way across the map.
The spear tackle would have to be let go at the right time to spear P2.
And the up kick could be used as an anti-air fireball-spamming move. Right now it only goes half the distance of the screen. So if P2 jumps to the top right corner, if you held the C button down, P2 would get hit.

It's the fact that not a lot of characters use this mechanic. I think a lot of players will never notice this feature. Or like it or utilize it.

I like the animation. It's pretty smooth, and the skirt movement is a nice touch to the flow of the sprite.

They also added the Stamen from Stardust Memory. But holy FUCK is that one particularly OP.

Either way my point stands.  Smash Bros is not just there to give you your favorites, it's also there for Nintendo to promote less famous characters.  I used Falcon as an example because he was a literal nobody before Smash 64.

The same can be said for Ness. Earthbound wouldnt be a cult classic if he wasn’t included in 64 or Melee.

Well, sadly, Twitch reset my setting for storing yesterday's stream, so it is lost :(

However, have a screenshot showing this is indeed coming along. Ground basics are done, as well as a bunch of system stuff. Got the hang of the new spark system and such.




I of course plan to stream every day as part of my 4-day weekend! I'll start today as soon as these issues with the widget are resolved; it's on Child's Play's end so I sadly have no control over it, and I wouldn't feel right streaming without the donation widget being active.

EDIT: https://www.twitch.tv/Yesujira stream has resumed! I sadly cannot do anything about the donations and I feel bad about that, but I'll keep an eye on the widget and notify on-stream when it's active again. Just remember to donate when it's back up!
