We do realize Miku supposedly won the ballot in Japan, right? Things could have been much... Different. And more melodic, not even counting the Choir Boys rumor. Now that would be a mess.
I agree with everyone that Goku for Smash is mostly a meme at this point. It has been so overdone at this point that I think we are beating a dead horse at this point.
I personally do not care for Goku regardless he gets in or not. He gets in? So what? I use Pikachu almost exclusively in the series (with the occasional Mii-brawler, Wii-Fit Trainer, and Charizard for the latest in the series). Goku will be just another punching bag for me to beat up, like what he is in my MUGEN program. He does not get in? No big loss for me at all.
I think that there are other characters far more obscure that deserves the spot more than Goku (and Cloud from FF7). How about some character from Namco-Bandai or even SNK. Those could use some attention and I actually might use a character from SNK.

(the rock helpers can be hit and turn into clones) x,x,x,x -> before he makes the enemy explode press a+z Why doesn't he turn if the enemy is behind him while he does the dash attack (a+z). This for all of your new characters. The aura has shadow. Pressing a+z in itself is an infinite. y -> a+z -> repeat as many times as you want for an infinite. Why does he "transform" while he's already transformed into Golden form?

Strategist mode, hah, fun ! Not so fun on the insane maps where you get overwhelmed from all sides and you need everyone to pull their weight.
ehhhh the only maps that have those issues are the ones with the clones popping up and shadow rush, which gets easy once you order the right people to take out the mages, sages, rally captains and then the shadows afterwards. pair about 2 npc's to the commander and 2 npc's to the home base, with the 4 playable characters all having the abillity to heal others as well helps a ton. its all up to you taking advantage of the triangle system to make it easier.
im curious to see how strategist mode affects the chaos dragon battles though since the ai does jack shit to him
it's a cool char, but it doesn't really feel like DBFZ (aside from trying to mimic the same moveset). the pausetimes, speeds, hit velocities, etc etc just don't feel right.
That is correct, I take some liberties like with all of versions of characters, Their inspired to play like a certain version, not to mention things such as animation, and 2d vs. 3d comparison are also taken into consideration. I sadly can not get correct pause times and hitvels and speeds.
On the bright side, The base for the gameplay is there. If someone wanted to edit my character and fix up these things, I wouldn't mind, but for myself I have no way of getting the correct info.
I'm looking through a SFF file that has a lot of duplicate sprites, and it bothers my perfectionist tendencies. I could just leave it be since the SFF's filesize is small anyway and filesize hardly matters nowadays as much as it did years ago now that internet speeds have gotten faster.
But still, I just have to clean it up for optimization's sake. The problem is, Fighter Factory doesn't seem to offer a way to check for duplicate sprites; and Sprmaker which could deal with duplicate sprites no longer works since it's a 16-bit program and I'm on a 64-bit system now. So my last resort is to check them all manually, which I really dread doing because I might make a mistake and accidentally remove a sprite that isn't a duplicate because it looks so similar to one.
How do I deal with this problem, or am I the only one who sees it as a problem?

trailer for the kengan ashura anime adaptation. i've read the manga and while it's okay, it really doesn't do a lot to elevate itself from the rest of fighting mangas. its basically baki the grappler. i haven't read too far in it tho, so i don't know if it changed. but from from what i read it was a very basic "meet new opponent-> fight in an arean-> win" rinse and repeat. is it gonna kill japanese authors to learn how draw dynamic fight scenes that utilize the environment? just watch the raid.
