what I would be curious about is what "style" would be the one everyone will mimic by then and fail at.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

I don't care about who won because that was honestly very predictable.
It wasn't, at least for me. I thought Felineki's Akuma would win easily, but Infinity's Doom won, and that isn't bad. Congrats you two, an outstanding job you did in february :thumbsup:

I'm just amused with the character that got zero votes. It's like apparently the people that nominated it did so only for laughs and not because they think it really warrants their vote.

I've been thinking something similar from day one (I suggested limiting nominations per user back when Rajaa ran the whole thing, but that was ignored). Maybe we shouldn't allow twice as many nomations as actual votes, or the nominee requisites should be higher (5+ nominations).
