Welp, for now the base is in:



I'll start animating, and doing some graphical touch ups some time later.

Yes there are deltas, but cutting the floor and blending some parts of the BG was a bit of a pain though  :P

thats nice exshadow. i have boon looking for someone to do a pit stage mk9 ish for us for a while. does that interest you in anyway man i Have been a fan of yours since day one and I would be delighted to have you make a good one for us for the MK real of souls project.

How are we supposed to have something nice if everytime we try something... FPS goes down... fuckin mugen is frustrating me. I hope the next version will solve this problem.

I dont know what you guys are doing to get bad FPS it kinda puzzles me a bit since I have gone animation crazy on  3d stages and still the FPS is fine what exactly are you guys doing? Even with this stage I did the fps is fine. I plan to do the same with the Deadpool stage

It's because your stages are like full animations with no Trans:

I'm just irritated that 3 layers fog can decrease the FPS from 55/60  to 40/45 ...

No trans as in no transparency or transitions? In regard to transparency then I have done lots of stages with mutliple transparency layers too.
 Yes they are full animation but they are rendered in huge size like 1700x480 each or something like that and I still get no framerate decreasing the most I get is the battle taking a little longer then normal to load up.

No Transparency.

I Know that Big animation with transparencies kill FPS. Any transparency. especially transparent sprite or anim covering each other.

Put two or 3 smoke animations at the same location, on the top of each other (with trans of course) and you're fucked...

It's really anoying. My Ruin City Stage is full of animation but has decent FPS. But for some reason this one I just have a 3 layer fog, two ridiculously small flame anim and a global tint.

EDIT: I think my Tint is the problem...

Oh well...

What most impresses me, is the fact that Mortalist created a stage based on MK9 desert, with a "river" flowing through it, some shrubs and a bridge. Then i suggested him to make a MK3 floor on it. And now, Master Yoda is making the same stage, but with better graphics.
EDIT: Who inspired who?
I'm looking foward to these releases, they are awesome!!!

The Pit is nearly done as well but Ex lost some data and softwares due to reformating so we will have to wait that he gets photoshop back.

OK GUYS I came up with an idea -

I started to add a couple of crows to make the stage less empty and then I realised I could eventually fill the arena with crows considering getting a crowd would be too much of a pain in the ass.

So if anybody has any crows anims that would be cool.

I have 3 different crows so far, it would be nice to have 6 to 10 differents to look more natural. 6 or 7 would be nice.

The crow anims must be standing animation, not flying of course.

I don't play in HD but in HR (i play in a windowed mugen, not fullscreen, and the window is 640x480) HOWEVER I ALWAYS INCREASE THE DIMENSIONS BY 1200x790 ONLY FOR SCREENSHOTS AND VIDEO.

I am not sure what do you want me to send you ? The screenshot or the original image of the stage ?
