here's a screenshot* As you can see here one of the many problems with this Ukyo is that it somehow manages to achieve color loss on Neo Geo sprites. Was there an Amiga port of Samurai Shodown 2 that I wasn't aware of or something? Emulators like Winkawaks have shots factory functions that allow you to isolate and screenshot neo geo sprites very, very easily so I am genuinely curious to know how the author ripped these sprites.* With said emulators one can also count the ticks in each frame of an animation. This Ukyo could've used that. It's actually even more jarring when you see how delayed the follow-through animation with his hair is.* Sprite misalignment all over the place. Most of this could've been avoided if these sprites were ripped in a more practical way.* It's also missing required sprites as well.* Not only the presence of missing required sprites, but that we get debug flood with each hit that Ukyo lands giving me the impression that the author is unaware of ctrl+D which you should have active when testing a character.* The way the author coded the run to roll thing is...not well designed to say the least. I can just roll by pressing DF,DF* This Ukyo can Tsumabe Gaeshi even while the projectile from a previous Tsumabe Gaeshi is on the screen as the AI will love to demonstrate for you.* Get your timing right and you can achieve a block stun corner infinite with fierce Zanzou Fumikomi Giri because the way its been done in this Ukyo is not right at all.* In fact, I think that if you get your timing really right you might even be able to infinite with fierce Tsumabe Gaeshi with your back to the wall.* Successfully connecting with his rage super does not end rage mode.* He doesn't appear to have Hiken Sasame Yuki which is a shame because I am morbidly interested in how this author would do that wrong.* Samurai Shodown 2's damage randomizer factor is not present.* Portraits are not the correct size for standard MUGEN and also are neo geo sprites that are somehow riddled with color loss. This Ukyo is a truly fascinating specimen. It feels and certainly looks like a DOS MUGEN character but in 2014.
