...BloodRayne: Betrayal was 2D.I did not particularly care for the whole anime look they went with Betrayal and I'm presuming it'll be the same here.
Betrayal's main problems were not anime-style or being 2D.Broken and repetitive gameplay, lack of content, level designs, bosses... When you are halfway done game suddenly becomes annoying as hell, with all those broken platforming, where you can fall to die just because rayne is doing a step forward, when you turn her around. Oh, and this way of doing superjump... it was just horrible.Anyway, I'm confident of Arcs' gaming developing skills. They won't make shit, that's for sure
I wasn't debating Betrayal being good or bad, just you said they should go back to 2D games. Betrayal was the one 2D game, the others were 3D.Just clarifying what you meant is all. I can't vouch for Betrayal's quality because I've only played its demo or Arc Systems as their games don't really appeal so I haven't played them.

Now I'm just imagining Arcsys doing a broken ass fighting game with a bunch of the characters from the series. Beware the nazis and their basket ball infinites.I really enjoyed Bloodrayne 2 but somehow I doubt Arcsys is gonna go back in that direction.
