This is the full pack of stages for the PSX game "Suiku Enbu/Outlaws of the Lost Dynasty". I'm sure this pack won't bring much hype nowadays, but since I had the sprites ripped a long time ago, I had to do something with them.

Theses stages are compatible with mugen 1.0 (no zoom) and 1.1 (zoom enabled). Due to mugen limitations, 1.0 stages are not 100% accurate to the original game, but 1.1 are the closest to the real game you can get.

The game is probably one of the worst-made fighting games ever released. The zoffset for the stages was badly placed, there was severe color loss in these backgrounds, the programmers screwed up the boundright values in some backgrounds (one edge 25% shorter than the other edge), and apparently some releases of this game had a bug with the BGM that didn't play at all.

Not to mention about the crappy gameplay, poor story development and bland artwork.

The only awesome thing of this game is its BGM, if you are lucky to have a non-bugged disc

While I have never played these titles, I gotta say that these stages are awesome; I'm always up for some healthy servings of Mugen obscurity. And you deliver nicely.

Yeah the PSX port of the game was pretty bad. There's a later Saturn upgrade that bumps up the quality considerably.

wasn't the saturn version also the one that added mizoguchi and yungmie as well

and yeah gonna have to nab these later on today, particularly the first one since i always liked that one

The girl was added as a Saturn exclusive, because Mizoguchi is also on the psx port. In any case, the game seems rushed or partially made, because 2 stages are shared by 6 characters and Mizoguchi has no stage by himself. And guys, don't forget that we are talking about single layer, non animated backgrounds...

actually there were two on the sega saturn one of them included both characters..... honestly wish someone would convert the rest of the characters from this title

I'll have to disagree on that. Yes, it is certainly a forgettable, average game, but it is miles over turd like, say, Rise of The Robots.

There are kind some releases of this game. There is the Arcade original, then the PSX and Saturn ports, which are worse than the original. Then there is the Saturn exclusive Fuun Saiki, which fixes a lot of stuff and has a proper intro and character select screen, as well as including the two guests from Fighters History.
