Back to Mugen: But a SP in its making.

Been in a hiatus for quite a while. Decided to make something and I guess a Screenpack is a good start no? Characters.. well that will take its time when I find the right character to make

While... I'm working on this for sure and I think I need somewhat the versus screen to be animated (going to take time doing this) and the lifebar animations. However, the options page shouldn't be that hard to work on anyways!
Good luck to me and hopefully you'll see more progress later! I will post templates for portraits later!

your design is certainly of a game creator. my opnion is that requires much creativity to make something like this.

this is one of most beautiful screenpacks i ever seen.

you should be making games. you could be sucessful in this kind of field.

I think you should remove the stepmania images, is the source, but looks strange, cause this is not stepmania

good job the Cyberia Style themes are too animated and detalied, and seems that you have maintained that.

I'm sorry but we work via the honor system here, I believe he's not obligated to take this down unless he respects your call for taking it down. He is not making any sort of profit off this.

Umezono is right. I don't know why this happens to me but I make stuff for people to enjoy and not for profit. But if he has any good reasons to give, I'll listen. I know people in Japan still runs with the Permission era, but from where I come from it's different. Different culture values I guess?

Hmm okay, I just wonder why he didn't post it before when I made Cyberia 7? So I don't know if I should either continue this or not?
Otherwise I read the CC Clause and I guess I don't want to deal with the legalities, it's enforceable in court if the creator chooses to apparently.

So I'm not making money off the work, but the rest applies that I'm apparently not allowed or use any of their work due to the Creative Commons license, however I will remove the video if he tells me. Plus mugen isn't for publicity or money so I don't know why he should worry about that if it doesn't affect him?

Oh okay, thanks. I was reading it to make sure of things. I'll give credit and a link to the license. If anything else, the transform/remix of the images is what I don't get

I posted the credits in my videos and link to the creator's website, since it should attract attention for him (which I think he needs?).

pay attention to the "noderivatives" clause, if this guy feels you have done too much to remix it he can probably take this further, os its up to your judgement on whether its worth it. however the main complaint here seems to be you used his images, so i dont think its a problem.

alright, glad I could help man. hope stuff works out. btw remixing just means you built off of and modified the images heavily to make your own unique work (with this dudes stuff as a base)

I'll stop it since he kind of requested it. At the same time, if he doesn't want his assets to be used then I guess I should respect him for it. However, I can make this private for myself, otherwise I'll make another SP in the mean time to make up for it? I've been showing images as of now and I haven't been officially release anything in terms of downloads. I'm just really confused on why he didn't do it for Cyberia7(which I made long ago)? Just why now all of a sudden?
*Sigh* -This is mugen for christ sakes, this isn't making any money off of anything. And if someone used anything that I personally create myself, I don't really care. Well that is in my cultural perspective, so I don't know.

To reply, this project is not cancelled. Feel free to post port requests, if there is anything involved that he wants to settle with, settle with me only. Don't involve others in this mess please, reply to me via PM if you want things to deal with, I'm still releasing this. Respect or not, I'm not brought up in Japan. This is more of a morale issue and it mostly involves ego and pride, but hence forth, I'm still continuing this.
