They all look awful.

All the stages follow the same template.

No floortension (maybe try 50).

The backgrounds are all single layer, single image with poor looking sprites thrown on top.

Moderate to severe color loss depending on the stage.

Obvious, downgrading of resolution.

Not good at all.
