Same thought here.  Is there a tutorial out there for the way nexus does his thing. I could have sworn id seen one some where.
 It would be great for some of us  to join the cause and take to other characters or games that are 3d.  Ive tried alot of ways. Some good others not so much. But this looks very streamlined

Just pm mako and ask if he can post a tutorial for you, its probably similar to what chucho does except cut the legs

That's because those guys weren't taking the extra mile to refine them to a more professional quality.

sorry guys I've been busy with Sega vs. Capcom but very soon i will be back to finish SF4 2D Ryu and other 3D to 2D projects
