If any series needs a company or fanmade fighting game or sequel, what are your top picks and in what style? (Crossover, Smash styled, Mortal Kombat, destruction derby, party, Street Fighter, tag fighting, wrestling, or your own.) My picks are a Sega Smash Bros, a Disney Smash Bros or Street Fighter, a DBZ crossover, and a Mario Street Fighter, and maybe a Steam/ Valve/ Indie Crossover.
Expect nothing, but remeber everything.+ I am tired. Future spot for Doraemon in MvC picture, the second I learn to create it. (Even further: Pepsiman for Mvc picture.) Insert random Doraemon anime .gif. (Also, Pac-Man Delta whaling on a MLP character .gif........) Now, Wipeout....... OTHER STUFF? Needs blue SSB 64 Mario in tornado .gif......... Add Super Mario Fighters 3 sprite here........ Also, now doing KFA stuff...

Sequel?

Any Neo Geo game that isn't KOF. MOTW, Last Blade, AOF, Fatal Fury, etc.

In terms of franchises, I can't really think of any since most of the franchises I like already have fighters.

Final Fight <-- This would actually be VERY cool.

I know there was already a 3D game (which sucked!) but there's already 7 characters represented in other Capcom's FG universe, so all they'd have to do would be ... make another 5, and make it a digital download.

Same with SNKP - They could use assets they already have from other KOF styled games, mash them together, make a few new stages and artwork, and sell it as a continuation or remake of older games. I'd buy them as long as they're official and the artwork is good :P

Unfortunately, it seems Capcom has completely mashed the FF and SF universes together so it's pretty unlikely that they'll make a Final Fight fighter.

-Aggressors of Dark Kombat 2: with KOF remake, like Kisarah (and Joe) in NGBC, with new characters as well Ryoko Kano from WH (she's the other present character apart of Fuuma)
-Final Fight: As Walt said, I think it should be a 3D fighting game with a megamix of characters like Dissidia: Final Fantasy or Castlevania: Judgement, apart of FF1 chars there should be from FF2 (like Maki and Carlos), FF3 (like Dean and Lucia) and even Streetwise (like Kyle and Vanessa)
-Variable Geo: A new fighting game with new characters and chars from past games (like Terumi, Kotoe, Saki and Masako), as well chars fom non-FG games like VG Rebirth (Hiyori and keiko). Ah, and a VG Neo sequel/spinoff as a fighting game, of course
-Power Stone: Yeah, it's a fighting game, but it should be done as a normal fighting game (maybe using SFIV engine)
-Berserk: After what they done with Hokuto no Ken, this manga franchise should be adapted by Arc System Works
-Metal Slug: There're various chars adapted for other SNK fighting games (Marco, Fio, Mars People), I think it's time to bring'em all to a fighting game (and adding Ikari Warriors as secret chars maybe). I imagine general Morden in a big machine a la Dr. Wily in Megaman: Power series
-KOF: Maximum Impact 3: Oh please SNK, re-reclute Falcoon to make the sequel!!
-A Capcom response to SNK's NGBC: a megamix of Capcom chars only, not a crossover but only chars fom this company fighting between themselves and using chars from past fighting crossovers with chars from other non-fighting games, there're enough chars to make something really cool

That game had a really cool cast..lots of innovative ideas..just the execution was not that well handled.

A re-boot of the first one could be awesome.


Ehrgeiz ..same as with B.I.O.F.R.E.A.K.S except that it was executed very well already.

KOF Maximum Impact 3..just continue what started with Maximum Impact 2..it was awesome.

Others:
Art of Fighting, Last Blade, Saturday Night Slammasters and yup.. a new TMNT fighting game could be awesome as well.

Oh hey again, I was busy and couldn't reply, and MAN these came fast, but it seems as Final Fight is pretty dang popular amongst the fighters, but what about cartoon or anime franchises? Oh yeah, and to be honest I haven't heard of most of these games, the more you know.

For sequels, ROTD is obvious. I'd also want more charas for Ougon Musou Kyoku.

For actual new stuff, Ganbare Goemon would be a fun fighting game IMO, and a fighting game based on the delusions from Chuunibyou would be genius.

-Samurai Showdown (but using a system based on the old games)
-Killer Instinct (the XBoxONE KI doesn't count)

-Rumble Fish (but only if the sprites aren't limbs like in the previous games; heck, I would be even happy, if they would use 3D models)
