I am not sure why everyone says they can't use 1.1, 1.1 actually works better than 1.0 it is much smoother and can play those pseudo 3D stages with no slow down at all.

It's because not everyone can run Mugen 1.1. Hell, even Watta used to have problems with 1.1, but i'm not too sure now.

well maybe because of the openGL stuff,call me ignorant but i have seen a lot of people complaining about that before,never knew why

Indexing it won't really be problematic, I think, because of the monotone-ish color scheme of the stage. I'll try it in the weekend.

True but I'm just lazy. Tenryuu said that he might index it later on.

I'm using a super shitty Intel Integrated chipset in this PC right now. I can barely run Age of Empires with this thing. 1.1 isn't that bad on your pc, but it eats up your RAM like shit.

I still do. I had to use a super duper light SP to make this stage :P

That is true, but the problem with MUGEN's OpenGL is the issue with the high usage of RAM, this even occurs with 256 indexed bulky SFF stages, screenpacks, etc for some reason. 1.1 also has issues with both DirectX and System, causing bgctrl stages to break and become unstable.

I still prefer 1.0 over 1.1 because of stability, aside from its limitations but that's just me.  ;)

weird,up untill now i never knew that 1.1 had so many issues,as a matter of fact i never experienced any issues with 1.1,and i've been using it since day one.now i kinda see why people don't want 1.1
