Hi.

Longest stage to create so far. This shit has brought my knowledge to a new level. I hope you enjoy.

The only sprite that is not original is the floor. I'm thus quite happy about the rest. (especially the bomb ...lol)

- Animations
- High Jump
- Airship Sounds
- Original Mix (Airship Sounds + Music)
- File size = around 30 Mb. A bit heavier than my usual stages sorry but I think it's worth it. Hopefully.
- ALternate DEF file with less animation if your MUGEN is slow


I may update the codes a little bit to synchronise exactly the Bomb with the explosion later, but right now I can't be fucked. I just want to rest a bit and get feedback, and see if people are enjoying this one.

READ CAREFULLY
The stage contains 2 DEF files:
- AIRSHIP_ORIGINAL.def = The original stage with a lot of animation, recommended if your computer is fast enough...
- Airship_Chase.def = less animation for better FPS if your mugen is too slow with AIRSHIP_ORIGINAL.def

EDIT :

IF YOU PLAY WITH WINMUGEN you may have a zoffset issue (i don't know why but i have the solution)
DO THIS

- Open the DEF file (any of them) with notepad
- type CTRL+F
- type "zoffset"
- adjust the value (if characters are too low, try reducing the value)
- Save (CTRL + S)
- Try

It's not bad.

I had really low FPS though.

EDIT: I'm yet to check your coding, but i'm not too sure about it. Something seems off to me, not sure what it is.

Framerate is probably my biggest concern with this stage indeed because of the amount of animation however it works fine on my 3 years old laptop so i thought it shouldn't be a problem for most of other people.
My mugen doesn't slown down. I cut most of the BGcontrollers by putting some movements into the animations itself.

My coding is quite messy I always work in a messy way sorry.

Nice stage. Not too fond of the music. Do you think you could provide an alternate sound file with just the turbine noise? Also, I'm having the same problem as EXShadow. I tried it with kfm and he starts way too low on screen.

Ok guys give me a minute to reupload everything - the SFF has been improved as well so I will ask you to redownload the whole thing and then tell me if you still have the same problem.

OK so I reuploaded everything.

Could anybody try BOTH DEF files and tell me if they have a zoffset problem (characters starts too low...).

I have checked the DEF already so if you have a zoffset problem still, then I am sorry but i can't help considering I don't have this problem, but i can give the solution (for noobs...)

Don´t have any zoffset problems, tried both DEF files.

Really nice stage, but the original def slows down my comp. FPS drops around 47 ~ 53...
Alternate def stage is good... still, original is superior in design.

Thanks for the feedback about the zoffset. I was kind of worried.

I am a bit frustrated that my original version can cause fps decrease. It's a waste of potential.

Thanks for the new mp3.

The chars still appear too low on my mugen. I'll have to try that adjustment later.

Was this stage intended for use in mugen 1.0? I tried it on 1.0 and there was no problem with the chars appearing too low.

I play with mugen 1.0 but my stages are for both players usually. its the first time i have such issue with winmugen users.
