I recently got this idea of a fullgame based on KOF edits , like Nao , Crowd , Eiji Shirow etc , and im a bit curious if you guys are interested in seeing this game happen , i wont lie , i want to build up some hype for it until i release more details about it , but im curious about what the MFG community thinks about it and what will you guys want to see in it .

I would love to see a fullgame based on KOF edits. Not much info here to get hyped on yet though.

IIRC Nao (the guy who made hiel, nao, and sula) had that idea when making them, it was called "The Another King of Fighters: The rise of the clones" (and that's where the term A-KOF comes from), Never finished it, and I think Nao is out of the mugen bussines now...

It could be nice to see it for real...

i got a few progress made , i made a design for screenpack and lifebars.
i started coding the common stuff , i made a custom vs screen , pretty much like the one from Kof 99
i have a bit of progress on the battle ability system , guard crush .
im thinking of making the gameplay similar to my Nao & Unknown ( basic kof style with a bit of juggling ) and with Armor and COunter Mode ( always loved those )
oh yeah , the screenpack is somewhat based on the kof 2001 one , always love that white scheme. , i might make a thread soon on the Projects page

I did this years ago, but called it KOF: Rise of the Clones, never released it though. So I'd say go for it, only problem is getting the balance and feeling of uniformity correct, I had to make a lot of custom portraits so that everyone looked similar like a proper KOF game.

my game wont be a compilation if thats what everyone asumes , im willing to custom code everything and make a balanced game except the bosses ( typical to kof )
do you have anything left from that game ? im still searching for stuff to get inspired on.

Unfortunately not, lost it all when I upgraded my pc, I thought I backed it up but I didnt, then I didnt have the motivation to start over again

well i got most of the stuff done , il make a thread in Projects soon , so far i got the designs for start screen , title screen , select screen , vs screen and the lifebars which include the power bar , score system , CM / AM bar and striker bar.
