Download

Contains some fixes for most chars, but is mostly useful if you missed the updates I did in late October.
If you did miss those updates, you need to redownload Sakura, but the other chars should be fine after you simply apply the patch.

There is, but the difference isn't very noticeable. Just fixed stuff pointed out back then plus some minor stuff.

Oh, ok.

Just started playing with the characters again.

Pocket Shin Gouki has rapid fire air medium punches.  I can chain about 7 or 8 of them together.

This is good.  Now I can play with all the updated characters, but specifically Yuri and Morrigan  ;)

First off thank you for giving Vega, his true Level 3 super, and I cant stop laughing of what You've done to Dan's suicide move......Second, Vega didnt need a patch now when i go for "Paint the fence, or a custom combo finisher, say if I hit P then P, the second P he dodges, and if i hold foward while hitting the second P he rolls, that needs to be fixed other than that everything is f'n awesome!!

Very efficient updating. ;)

One of the changes I first noticed... the power charge seems to start a bit too slowly. I know that it couldn't work the way it was before, because it was so fast, but a power charge this slow doesn't have much application in a fight against a player or custom AI, because setting up a fireball or some other maneuvre is a more valuable use of your time when your foe is down (which is mostly when you would power charge), even in terms of power generation.

Yeah, need to redo the timings for all aerial normals, that should fix it.

Oops, my bad. I'll make a patch for that, but it's easy to fix, so you can fix it yourself in the meantime - just look for the first [State -1, roll/dodge] in the cmd file and eliminate trigger2.

That's the point. ;P
Do you think people should be rewarded for going for a power charge rather than keeping pressure on the opponent? I wanted to make it so that they wouldn't want to resort to Power Charge all the time, but just use it as a cooler, more effective way of charging their meter than having to spam specials in the other corner.

First of all P.o.t.S. ur chars rocks they are all my favs.. :sugoi:

Well i dont know if is just me but i cant pull out the "Gou Shouryuu Ken" after any punch or kick, the only that came out is the "Gou Hadou Ken"  :( Strange because i can with other chars like ryu and can make the "Hyakki Shuu" after those without a problem! :D
Can u fix this or tell me how i can fix it!! Maybe im a total noob... who knows!!  :'(

For the individual Ryu def files, the palettes go by the old selection scheme (a = original color instead of x).

Rare Akuma also has the old palette selection scheme.

For Master Ryu, he still has both commands for Boufuu Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku.

Fixed (except Rare Akuma), but doesn't justify reuploading them so it'll be on the next update.

It's intentional, you can cancel all horse stances into teleports (except supers and win poses, of course).

Doesn't happen here, and I'd have already gotten like 20 people reporting it if it happened to them, because it's so apparent. ???

The readme for the file lists the changes.

They concern the usual changes to common states many people overlook when attempting characters with basic accuracy (especially setting velocity to zero in the beginning of various states... "everybody" forgets that at first).

All of the changed states in there are of course included at least as well (if not better because they can be more specific) in each of his characters where appropriate.

(And, as a a side remark, encouraging people to use a modified common1.cns [or saying "my chars work best with xyz common1.cns"] would be a bit problematic if the changes are not guaranteed to be universally compatible with each and every character and would never produce effects uninteded by modificator or character maker.)

The readme file rightly says, "Not recommended if it's mostly of MvC, GG or similar chars." Because MvC does not [always ^^"] have the velocity to zero thing. Neither does MUGEN by default. So if you made a MvC char you wouldn't necessarily override these common states because they are like you need them anyway.

If you then exchange the common1.cns where those states are no longer the defaults, the MvC character behaves not as he should!!!  :bigcry:

Because MvC does not have the velocity to zero thing. Neither does MUGEN by default. So if you made a MvC char you wouldn't necessarily override these common states because they are like you need them anyway.
Only when exiting a dash, in other cases the vels are reset as well.
I was making one of those for MvC gameplay, but never finished... still plan to, however (God knows when).

hay POTS, there is something with your Sakura's spirte that I've founded.



the top ones are her normal pallete and the bottom is a custom pallete.

now, do you noticed something about the hair on the right? while I was playing around with the Golddigger pallete, I've noticed there was a part of her hair that keeps bugging me. I did find more spirtes like it. I've did some editting to her spirtes by coloring in her hair. mind if I upload my editted patch?

cool. I'll be waitting for it. (so I wouldn't have to redo all of those spirtes myself after each update)
those are the only problems I had with your Sakura. (altho not as buggy as Beximus' sakura, heck, she has some annoying problems like if you knock her around some while in normal mode, sometimes she switches to her dark spirte while getting beaten up. I hope Beximus can fix the bugs in his characters someday)

Hello. I have an issue with the patch.

I downloaded the patch for Pocket-Shin Gouki, and took him for a test spin. But he can no longer pull off the Hyakki Gousai or the Hyakki Goutsui, and on top of that, the Hyakki Goushou goes right through the opponent.

That's my only big issue. Other than that, thanks for fixing his Normal Akuma palette!

sounds like you got some updates to do.
and hopefully once you make the patches for your characters, all the issues will be taken care of.
(altho I might not be needing a patch for Sakura since I've did my own fix for her spirtes)
I wonder if you are going to give your mini-games an update.
I wonder if it's possible to when you pair your Duck Hunt with Neokamek's break the targets game, the distroyed targets can add up to your duck hunt's score as an added bonus.
