"All" function on long threads?

why is it that the view all function doesnt work on 7-8+ page threads?
yes there would be really long pages but what's the problem with it?

Server can't handle the amount of data this represents ?

...that too. i don't think it would be that big of a deal except when there's one of those big arguement threads, where everybody's viewing and posting, and in that kind of situation, an "accidental server crash" might be a good thing :)

I think it is a big deal if the threads are going 30 above or so(like, 64?). The modem's gonna burn.


Somewhat returned as a living fossil after 2-3 years of doing nothing.

The limit is currently 150 posts (i.e. 7.5 pages). Accurate observation. :o
