when trying 1280x720 mugen, angry ryu just lags for some reason

That's sucks. This character at the core is extremely old and I will not doubt that that is the reason why its lagging on highres

unfortunately I only use 640x480 res so I have no idea what would be causing that issue.

another hing that I notice is that if I have an Angry ryu vs Angry Ryu fight, the intro is very slow and glitchy.

Alright Guys. After a good break, I'm back.

Here's another Major update for Angry Ryu
You can get version 1.2 Here

v1.2 Changes:
- Changed the commands of his supers to be more of a Marvel vs Capcom style. The Capcom vs SNK style still works though just in case that's more comfortable. See movelist in Docs
- Altered commands for his rolls
- Added easy commands for his teleports.
With all these command changes, you can now control the character, fight, and react just like how the CPU does.

- Fixed His his throw animations a little bit. Also fixed a bug that allowed you to cancel a throw into a low kick before the opponent hits the ground.
- A few tweaks to his A.I.

I'm glad you fixed that low kick after throw bug i couldn't pull that off but kept seeing the AI do it & i thought it wasn't fair.....will test it right now

I'm surprised, even before this update you should have been able to do a crouching weak kick after a throw. The previous Bug was that it was possible to cancel into a low weak kick even before the throw animation was done - causing the opponent to float in the air for a while.

In this update you can't do anything until the opponent hits the ground during the throw.

As of right now, anything the A.I. can do, A human player can do.

Well before this update i couldn't do it at all still but i'll take a look to see if i can now.
