For some reason my character plays perfectly but the pallete isn't affecting him. He still has the same looking clothes and stuff. How do I make a single pallete that affects all his sprites and make them show in mugen. Also, how do I edit the sprites individually? I want to give him red eyes but it can't be done on the pallete because the color of the eyes are the same colors on different parts of his skin. Thanks in advance.

In order for palettes to change the colour of the character you must have sprite 0,0 in your sff file and you need to use a shared palette for any sprites you need to change colour. That means if you have 200 character sprites, all those sprites must have the same palette.

As to making the eyes red. Extract all sprites. Recolour eyes using pencil tool in your favourite image program. Recreate sff file.

They say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but it's not one half so bad as a lot of ignorance.
