...does the Injustice Cool Bow Spin really needs to cause 30 hits at once? It feels unnecessary and certainly not good to hear.
@sky, what you tink could be changed at stance?MotorRoach said, November 28, 2014, 01:57:22 am...does the Injustice Cool Bow Spin really needs to cause 30 hits at once? It feels unnecessary and certainly not good to hear.you are right,i will reduce time and incress damage.
I like what you are doing, yet there is still big room for animation improvement! Some of the transistions look very choppy in the video (could also be blamed on the video I guess) but seeing the animations you showed I made very fast copy/paste/move around changes (around 5 minutes each) you should look into in order to make the existing animations smoother/dynamic. It was really bothering me how GA shoots the arrows ---> the second image was generated with ps inbetween - it shows where another frame is needed to make it look good. (the edit would need another head where I just placed the one different)also a possible stance idea: + one frame and some small adjustments will get you this also I dont know much about GA in general but following attacks could make him more dynamic.Arrow with a Rope --> Bow Launcher, Have a Trick Arrow with a Rope that immediatelly pulls back the opponent, whether in Air or on GroundArrows that nails down the opponent just like what you did with the net but the arrows stick half way into the opponent.Arrow that sticks to wall that GA can bounce jump off giving him the air advantage for his arrows
i like the stance he has but that alternate you made would be good for a walk foward or back and then his current walk foward could be used for a walk back
zvitor said, November 28, 2014, 11:43:47 am@sky, what you tink could be changed at stance? The problem isn't the pose, that's fine, you'll get a far more fluid 'breathing motion' if you adjust the shading while you're at it. He'll have a far more 'clean' motion that way. Ensample- Roxy is clearly breathing, Poison is just kinda bobbing up and down.
i think need a little bit both, your body still moves a little for breathing and more so for fighting stance ex. ryu
I'm pretty sure only the chest is supposed to move when you're breathing. Besides, breathing animation isn't just a matter of just shading adjustments. While adjusting the shading accordingly to a breathing movement helps on the smoothness of a stance animation, you would also need to change the lines around the upper body, to make it look like that the character is indeed breathing.Looking at Arrow's stance animation, the movement would imply that he's breathing, but when you pay attention to the chest area, literally nothing is moving within that part. All that is happening would be that he's just moving himself in and out (or back and forth) at random. It would look much more natural if you did make it clear that he's breathing, not just moving for the sake of moving.
i appreciate all sprites feedback, but Sei are not active atm, so to first release i will keep this sprites.i will try at least add breath to stance....nice ideia about Rope arrow,i will try it.
i think you had the rope arrow stuff in your previous arrow, but the bouncing off of it sounds awesome...I hope you try that.
