Art Money Tutorial Issue

Hi, I have been trying out the tutorial about finding data for Kof games: http://mugenguild.com/forumx/index.php?topic=90085.0
and notice that for the Art Money tool, they update the tool regularly and the latest one is 7.38. As I read through the tutorial and notice that something is missing which is this part:

Quote
Click on "Search", and use type "Custom". Uncheck everything but "Integer 2 bytes" and click OK. Click OK again to start the search.

In the bold part, Artmoney ask me to type a value and I am not sure which value to type

even if I use the older version of Art money like exactly v7.22, the Art money table only works for v7.32 and above.

The tutorial tells you what values the screen edges are for all characters. You type one, then filter by the other. If you are not looking for a specific value you use Unknown value and search everything, then filter it down by your characters actions.

Walking right increases a value, walking left decreases
Jumping can increase OR decrease a value for axis depending on game.
velocities are more difficult to find because they change more drastically, start with finding axis
Health decreases
power increases over a single stock then drops to 0 again when the stock is full
frame times decrement iirc
animation numbers increase from stand. But you don't know what the numbers are so the normal method is to filter increase/decrease each time
clock always counts down but it's not always a simple number. Sometimes it's a value counting down from a large number, sometimes it's what the clock shows.

I seems to get it so far, but for this sentence:

Quote
You will know you synced with the correct value when the character no longer moves if you freeze the Pos X.
Does it mean the character that I am using for instance K' he will stop moving as whatever input attack or movement that I execute, he will not move? because for my case, he is still moving even I freeze the Pos X

Yes, he should stop. If he doesn't stop you possibly haven't found the value.
