I think there should be a limit to how many times a person is allowed to ask questions from one user. Most of the questions XGargoyle answered were from Saohc, and they were pretty terrible questions.

You should've taken your complaints about Luigi1632 to a different thread, something feedback to warnings or something.

...But I actually agree with you, the guy is a real mood killer. Every single one of his posts feels like an attempt to cast some spotlight on himself. Hey look guys, my novel! Look, I'm a programmer! Look, I don't have a job! talk about me!

JNP is just pretending to keep the forum in order by applying laws to a thread that doesn't really need it (maybe some guidelines at most)

all while distracting us from more serious issues like iced using guild donations money to build a giant pool in his house and discord man using his position to meet famous people like ‎john de lancie or paul mcgann to name a few

Well the guidelines thing is what I really wanted to do with it. Basically just pass the thread to someone else when you are ready but please don't hold it more than 7 days.

I do feel that at the least Jango and Titiln should be able to pick again because they didn't get to choose (before we had that idea) and still be under the guideline I described.

I haven't seen Saohc shoe horning spotlight onto himself too much in any threads that matter. In the thread at hand the person being adked can refuse to answer or tell him to chill out. I saw 1 post in random about him getting his license. I may be missing some posts but I think you're being a bit harsh on his random chatter.

If I am missing posts were he is becoming a legit issue then yes, post them in an area where they can be addressed.

Added a link to this thread in the 1st post of the ask a user thread.

We should probably make a more uniform decision on what to do if someone vanishes and/or doesn't choose another person.

On this one I just had users list names of people and those names would get drawn from to see who got to answer questions next. Some people listed users that wouldn't be very viable choices because they are not here(no i didn't add winane to the list E) or they simply do not understand english enough (yes rednavi, I even listed that guy and was scared to death he'd get picked :P)

Maybe next time I just let users post their own names unless they have already had a turn?

Suggestions? It can't be anything that takes a long time.

Yeah that could work, although a different name raffle for every single occurrence wouldn't make sense. It would also make sure I never get picked, heh heh.

You could gather a group of users that want to be included maybe by tallying up a total of people that want to participate/be asked, and have them dated so they know when their time will be/when their time to be around is maybe have it last 1-2 days. If for any reason they're unable to participate on said date they can get a 1-2 day period before moving on to the next person, but they can be kept in the rotation and referred back to immediately after the current users date ends.

here's an easier solution: the chosen user has to name the next user before their time is up. it should be one of the first things they do. then the thread changes to that user when the three days are up
