Astraea 0.2 Beta by DNZRX released!

----Changed from 0.1 Beta to 0.2 Beta (7/13/2012):

-Added 3 new super moves.
-Added A new portrait.
-Removed all unnecessary sounds from the .snd file, reducing the total size of the character by about 50%.
-Edited Astraea based on feedback to 0.1 Beta
--Adjusted start-up and recovery times on the crouching medium, crouching heavy, and the standing medium.
--Adjusted alignment on some of the animations.
--Adjusted the hitdefs of some moves
--The hypermove will not allow the enemy to air-recover
--Fixed the clsns
--Adjusted the movement of Astraea
-- And other things

I will update the original thread if I have released a minor patch or change.

But since this update is alot more significant than a minor change in a line of code, I do think this warrants a new thread.

I have no idea why no one is giving feedback for this character. (it has potential to become a good one)

- 'Sword Storm' could be combo-d two times (three times in a corner) if timed correctly. It takes out half of the opponent's health (tested on KFM), so it may be a little too strong.

- Her idle pose should be slightly redone. The hair seems to be moving in a strange fashion, and her overall stance is stiff. And why does her shoes 'move' even though they're staying still?

- Her combos are very limited. Excluding quick 'X + Y/A + B' combos, I can't perform any combos that actually connect.

- A taunt may be nice. ._.

- I can't get her to be defensive without any grab moves. It would be appreciated if you did add one in.

- Her jumping 'B/Y' attack has misleading CLSNs. The CLSN is way too small for the sprite. If I were you, I'd change the sprites in the animation. (it's too large)

That's all I could give to you without using Fighter Factory to check it. I'm looking forward to the progress of this character!

I am now working on other projects, but 0.3 Beta would be out as soon as possible.

You think you can include more voice pack on a NEW version (0.3 Beta) whenever you can? cause when she attacks, does her introduction on every rounds or do any of her victory poses, there's no voice coming out. just the death cry.

I am thinking about a voice pack, that is my next task.

I have a job now, so my time is extremely limited, but I'll see what I can do.
