My first "2d style" stage.
It has lightning effects but those can not be seen in the preview pictures.
And the grass is animated.

super jump  ;)

Not bad...this is very different over the original SFA2 version, but I still like the original better...

Maybe more lightning would help?

  • I WANT IT ALL!!!
- Speed the grass animation up.

- Back layers of grass do not extend fully to each side of the stage.  It.... looks odd.

- More layers of grass and clouds, going farther into the background.  Dull the colors as you go farther back.

- Lightning doesn't ALWAYS strike the ground, you know.  Vary your lightning effects a bit more.

GOH: bmc would tell birds that they're broken because they shouldnt air recover

Gelda Nebilim pretty much summed up what I was going to say.

Also, the original stage had rain, and I think it really needs some, as lightning without rain looks odd.

Finally, jumping so high over the clouds and seeing the moon just looks ... unrealistic ! o_O
I'd put the boundhigh lower, not being able to jump over the clouds. Still, make it so that we can see the nice Y-deltas you put on the clouds, they are well done. And put the moon at some other position if you want to keep, because it's quite nice.

PS : put your name in the readme, to promote yourself and so people remember who made the stage if they find it in a folder. ;)

I thought this was a more fantasy version of the stage I like it though feels surreal.

I might remove the jumping over the clouds part.
But first i going to try changeing the deltas of the clouds.
So that it would take some incredible juggling (or an shinshoryuken) to se the full moon :sugoi:
